I made a thread like this back at MM. The thread about favorite FPS's sparked my memory.
I remember being completely ignorant to FPS's. At the time they were basically PC only and I always associated PC games with nerds. I still don't play games on PC to this day (for many reasons, not because of nerds, LOL). I did finally give Red Faction a chance on PS2.
I never finished that game but I still loved it. I remember it being pretty lengthy. I got to a part after a rail car crashes. There are all these enemies with rail guns that would kill you in one shot. Fucking bullshit.
Now I love FPS's.
Who else played a game from a genre that they never thought they would like but did?
