I found it interesting that while reading the February issue of The Official Playstation Magazine, in their calendar section, they denoted February 22nd's main attraction as the release of Bulletstorm. Isn't there a pretty big deal PLAYSTATION exclusive coming out that same day?:withstupid:

Question to all: NBA 2k11? I know it's supposed to be superb, my question is, for someone who isn't a huge basketball fan (never played it really in school, never watched anything but March Madness which was basically just an excuse to drink -- and still is), and doesn't really know much about the intricacies of the game, will I like it? The demo was fun enough and I was amazed at the level of detail, and lately I've slowly but surely been getting more into the NBA. What is the learning curve like? Would it help me to appreciate basketball more?Comment

You and I are a lot alike, Seth. Don't really care much about the NBA, but I'll be damned if this isn't one of the best sports games ever created.
The learning curve is quite perfect, actually. You won't be crushing teams when you first start, but you get the hang of it fairly quickly. It's really about learning your team and how each player moves. And yes, it will definitely help you appreciate how successful fundamental team basketball can be.

I just got this on Tuesday. Won 1 game out of 6 so far on the default settings (just quick games). I can stay close/have the lead for a lot of the game, but always fade at the end. Still learning the buttons/moves is a big part.
Was playing the Bulls/Clips game today, down by one. Wanted Boozer to face up, up fake and then drive to the rim. Forget to hold L2 and instead he launched a shitty shot and that was the game. Soon enough, I'll have that all down patComment

Finally got my Platinum for Arkham Asylum. I had to take a break from this one because I kept scoring just below the 50,000 point threshold on the last freeflow challenge map.
Next up is Bad Company 2. I just need to get 4 Demo 2.0 kills for the last trophy.Comment

Sometimes, I'll be able to swing across huge chasms with no problem and other times, I'll stop in midswing 10x in a row...
