I took a break from Metro 2033 to play Rogue Warrior, which I received today. 2 1/2 hours later I was done. Ha.

It's fun at first but the "it" factor wears off quickly. There are a lot of good games for it though.

When it comes time to play a game I usually lean towards the ones with trophies/achievements lately though so my Wii hasn't been getting much love.

I actually dusted off the Wii and played some A Boy and His Blob. Pretty cool game although I'm very early on. Nothing really challenging so far.


It's funny how long it takes the menus to work and games to boot on the Wii when you haven't played it in a while.

I couldnt get into that game I picked it up and after the first few levels i was like nope cant do it.

I would say it depends on what youre looking for most of the first party nintendo games are awesome the marios, zeldas, and metroids are good. A few third party games also hold up well Red steel, No More Heroes, and Madworld. If what you look for in a game though is online play and throphies then I would say pass. I cant think of too many nintendo games that do online gameplay well except for mario kart other than that its all lackluster and poorly done.

That's fucking awesome. I think you said you only payed $10 for it, but still that's pretty pathetic. I read that the game wasn't even done when they released it. The company just said fuck it and released what they had.

That's what ruined the second True Crime game. Not that it was going to be amazing, but it was better than the first... BESIDES THE GLITCHES! lol

That's probably right. It;s such a by-the-numbers generic shooter. It reminded me of that FPS Secret Service game that came out for the 360 a while back. Although I remember that game being considerably longer.

I must admit, the knife take downs were sweet and the Mickey Rourke one liners had me laughing my ass off.

I think I got exactly half, including a few that I got after completing the campaign. There are a few others that are probably pretty easy but I dodn't feel like dealing with them. Maybe some other time. They had to do with killing a certain amount of enemies with explosions, ie from barrels, and curb stomping enemies which I didn't even know you could do. Apparently if you get an enemy on the ground writhing in pain you can curb stomp them. Nowhere in the game did it tell you that. It;s also bullshit that the difficulty cheevos don't stack. I beat it on Medium and didn't get the East cheevo. It also has MP cheeves which are, quite frankly, bullshit. Games like this can easily get me started on a rant of why MP cheevos should be abolished.

I'm in the home stretch on Metro. Chapter 7. The weird thing is that I didn't know you could use night vision goggles until Chapter 6. I also am still confused as to what those spear head looking things are that you occasionally find? Also there are these sticks that you find as well that I am clueless about. I thought they had something to do with those spike grenades but I don't think so.

I finished up Metro 2033. Very good game. Very atmospheric. I'd give it a 7.5 or 8.

Now on to The Saboteur.

Yea I still have no clue what those spear things were. I just always sold them for bullets. You should really youtube for the alternative ending if you haven't.

With The Sabateur, get ready for some fun, but also get ready for some repetitvness. The last Act though (Act 3) is awesome.
