Did about an hour in front of Knubb and Swarley on-stream.
Got stomped as per-usual.
Then, I got my hands on a shit-ton of blueprints for new armor and weapons so I can now go into the Forest areas w/o fear of too much repercussion.
*I've almost got most of the Knight Armor set finished and I just got the Blood and Knight swords tonight.
I just keep on finding my way into the Tower and Dungeon sections more often and die promptly
I'm learning what traits I'm gonna want/need now (O.C.D. and P.A.D. are the light and the way if you like using special abilities and DON'T want to die to Spike Traps)... so there's that.
Looking forward to more tomorrow.

DL'd Rogue Legacy for PS3/PS4 after getting in on the recent Cross-Buy.
After streaming PS4 runs, I got my PS3 copy up tonight...
I SUCK when I'm live online... on PS3, w/ no audience, I'm CRUSHING early.
2300 Gold, made it to the Forest areas and I'm toting double jump/air dash/coin multiplier runes...
WITH Knight armor from the Smithy.
Shit's getting real and I can't show anybody
I'm glad someone here is playing it and (seemingly) liking it. I know that Knubb has played it, but I don't know if he's playing it on PS4 or had it for PC. It's such a great game. I'm planning to double dip on it sometime this weekend, I just might have to pick up a DS4 before I do so.Leave a comment:

I forgot all about basically every system they have in place/had improved from the previous two Mass Effect games.
The dodge roll...
The improved combat and passive skills...
The returning characters...
It's almost like playing the game fresh all over again except for all the tripped flags of my previous decisions from ME1 and ME2 being flung into my face.
"Gee Shepard, you're awesome and all but all those dudes you killed w/ a giant asteroid?
TOO FAR!"

My unrelated question was facetious. I just have too many games, was the point. Thanks for all of the DLC input though!Leave a comment:

I'd rank the DLC's in this order by preference:
1. From Ashes (Javik is easily one of my favorite characters in the series, Protheans are fucking awesome)
2. Leviathan (Super important plot point to the story, I have no idea how this didn't make it into the full game. )
3. Citadel (The closure you can get from this DLC makes it worth every penny. They even bring back Mordin... sorta.)
4. Omega (Aria is cool, Omega from ME2 is awesome to go back to, and you get to see a female Turian.)Last edited by j.hen; 07-26-2014, 05:17 PM.Leave a comment:

You may have said this all before but, do you have all the ME3 DLC? I REALLY want to play Citadel, but it's been so hard for me to dive back into the series. The sense of closure is hard to get over, particularly considering how much I apparently did "right" with my Shep.
Unrelated thought: I don't know why I'm surprised that I'm finding it hard to maintain a 250 gig HD on the 360 and a 400 gig HD on the PS3. I have a TB HD on the PC and I only have like, 50 gigs left. Where does all the space go?
The fun part is, I've only played ME3 once or twice w/ just the "From the Ashes" DLC for the single player (bossed up on the MP DLC when everyone was still playing it).
I've never touched the Omega DLC, the Leviathan DLC OR the Citadel DLC so I have a lot to look forward to.
As for the other thought, all that memory gets eaten by small updates and system patches.
It happened to my 120 Gig PS3.Leave a comment:

Yeah, 2 is pretty timeless IMO as well. But while playing it now on Insanity to try and get that platinum trophy, I've realized that not having the dodge roll is pretty damn limited. 3 really is vastly superior in terms of gameplay alone.
As far as the DLC goes, between the updated ending they put out and The Citadel DLC you really can't ask for more closure. The Citadel DLC was all about adding more closure but if you already felt like you had enough then you might be alright skipping it.Leave a comment:

Weirdly, I can still play ME2 no matter what (not so weird, I guess, considering it's my favorite and IMO the best of the series).Leave a comment:

Finished ME2 again.
Now it's time to save the Galaxy... again.
At some point these assholes need to learn to stop being wussies and take care of themselves.
It's not like there's clones of Shepard out in the wild or anything... right?Leave a comment:

Yeah, that's the biggest bummer, really. I could have done this a year ago and gotten a lot of games for free, considering I had PS+ this whole year anyway. Ah well. Perhaps I will just buy a controller.Leave a comment:
