I started playing Conan. Now I know it's not a great game by any means but I think i got it for a $1 in the Go Hastings deal. It's damn fun. It's mindless action. You just fuck dudes up, sever limbs, there's blood everywhere and there are also boobs.

The different combo moves are pretty sweet. There's one where you kind up flip a dude in the air where he's kind of levitating horizontally and then you cut him in half in slow-mo.:viking:

I played it...beat it........enjoyed it very much. The End boss can be a bitch though...have patience!! (perfect rental)

Back on track with my buddy to beat Resident Evil 5. We played though 3-3 and 4-1 last night.......Fun game with COOP. Look forward to beating it.

P.S.........damn the controls are clunky!

OMG....i dl the demo and shut it off after about 2 mins. The controls and player movement was horrible.

Conan was a good bashfest for a few hours. Enjoyed that one.

returning UC2 today and im gonna try and rent GOW collection. Playing that until ME2 comes out. I was thinking i might pick up a used copy of ME1 for cheap and run thru that.....but it would be alot of RPG to play in the next week and im not so sure it would be worth it.

of course i could wait on ME2 until i finish ME1.

i really want to try out GOW and see what all the fuss is about. My worry is that even with the nice upgraded HD graphics that the game is still a ps2 game. which basically means i may not like it if it looks and plays like shit. It should play fine being its 60 fps

I watched my buddy play GOW Collection. It really is great graphically. The only time its not is during cutscenes.

Mass Effect 2 Download Content Plans Unveiled
New in-game pipeline will give players access to new content, news.

January 19, 2010 - Today BioWare unveiled its downloadable content (DLC) plans for Mass Effect 2.

Those who purchase the title new will receive exclusive access to the 'The Cerberus Network,' an in-game pipeline for downloadable content, as well as daily messages and news on upcoming releases for the game at no additional cost. Access requires players to input a single-use unlock code that comes included with all new copies, retail and digital versions.

"The Cerberus Network augments and extends the rich universe of Mass Effect 2," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, co-founder, BioWare and Group General Manager of the RPG/MMO Group of EA. "We're thrilled to be able to reward loyal BioWare and Mass Effect fans with ongoing, high quality content and provide a direct channel for our players to dive deeper into the intriguing lore of Mass Effect."

The first DLC pack is set for release at the game's launch on January 26, and will include new missions, in-game items, and characters. Zaeed, a "rugged and deadly gun-for-hire" will join Commander Shepard in one of the new missions.

A second DLC pack, set for release "after launch" will included the Hammerhead, a new hover tank for players to take control of, along with "new missions and unique in-game items, including Cerberus Assault Armor which boost shields, health and heavy weapon ammo and the M-22 Eviscerator Shotgun."

If you're thinking about buying Mass Effect 2 used, BioWare says fans will have to pay for an activation code to join "The Cerberus Network," though pricing for a code was not revealed in the announcement.

Update: Electronic Arts has clarified to IGN saying all DLC on launch day will be free for those who buy Mass Effect 2 new. Pricing for content released afterward have not been announced.

Gotta love that "Buy New or Screw You" mentality going around... I won't go into the business of purchasing new copies of games, keeping the codes that come with them and selling the disc for profit but you all can guess how it works.

Said codes show up later online for money and are sold to the same schmucks that get the game used "for a good deal."

HAHA...just got home and rented GOW collection and played about 15 mins of GOW 1 and this game is awesome. never played these before so its all new to me.

GOD1 was from 05 i think and the remastered graphics are pretty darn good. the player models are old, but other then that everything looks pretty slick. fun as hell gameplay though

Maynard, the boss at the end of that game (God of War 1) kicked my ass. I think I eventually wussed out and went to easy mode. What a great game. enjoy.

I'm enjoying it as my break for CoD (in fact, I'll probably put in a few more hours tonight). It gets a little frustrating at parts (and I google'd for help), but I've never been good at the action/adventure games.
