Rumor: Both Xbox 3 and PS4 to be revealed at E3 2012.

The next gaming consoles from Microsoft and Sony will be revealed at E3 2012, according to a new report from MCV.

The website says its unnamed sources claim that both consoles will be shown in some shape or form. "Microsoft has long been rumored to detail its next-gen plans at E3 2012, and MCV's third-party publishing sources claim the firm had signaled to partners this will happen," the reports says.

"The 360 is one of the longest-serving games consoles in history. But the real surprise is an early move from Sony. Execs at the PlayStation firm have made it clear to third-parties that they will not be left behind this time."

Prices and launch details are not expected to be revealed. Rival Nintendo previously stated it will re-unveil the Wii U at E3 as well.

Played some more SR1 last night. Shit is super goofy-looking and the shooting is hilariously :turrible:.

I did beat all 8 levels of the demolition derby activity, though. That was a lot of fun.

Disappointing. I only play Madden & NCAA, and it takes EA at least a few years of utter bullshit until they finally make a playable game on a new console.

So i'm assuming fall of 2013 will be the release date on both consoles.

I'm finally getting back into Saints Row 3 after only playing it for a few hours initially. It is of course awesome. I have no idea why I stopped playing it.

Was at a mall for the first time in longer than I can remember and FYE was having a buy 1 get 1 50% off deal. I ended up caving and buying War For Cybertron and Bulletstorm for 40$. Only played the former so far...it's not bad, but the graphics are pretty bland and the voice acting/story is stupid as shit so far. But hey, it's the fucking Transformers.
