So me and Twiggles are co-oping Resident Evil 5 right now. Pretty fun game if you can get around the odd controls. I think we're halfway through chapter 3 so far. Love the amount of boss battles, more the better imo.
Side note: Been itching to play some KOTOR recently, and I saw that it's one of the backwards compatible games for the 360, so I'm thinking about picking that up.Comment

Now, MK "Komplete Kollection" or some shit isn't by any means a new game. It's the same game, with all of the costumes and other DLC shit available. there's no huge gameplay tweaks from the latest hotfix patchwork that they've done with the game, and so it has no reason to differentiate from people that bought it 10 months ago or not.
Now, Marvel/Ultimate Marvel, or SF4/SSF4/AE, works in a completely different way. Capcom doesn't really release patches for their games unless something is broken or simply does not operate in the manner they expected it to be. So when a new version comes out, it's either DLC or on-disc, has different gameplay mechanics as well as added modes and characters, as well as reworked netcode more often then not.
TL;DR: MK Patches their games continuously, and is basically repackaging their game in a "game of the year" format with all the DLC worked in, while Capcom doesn't.
Questions?:wildthing:
Sidenote: Twigg must really think I'm a capcom fanboy. I'm flattered. Really.* Chrispy logs into KGs account to see what misogi wrote* [05:53 PM]Comment

the moral of the story is, Capcom has no problem releasing broken Games; as we've seen with MvC3 and Dead Rising 2; bc their business model is built upon re-releasing those games with patch and a few trinkets for a $40 price tag ...
So for all of those gamers who have their eye on SF vs Tekken, Buyer beware...it's basically a $60 beta, patchwork + a few new stages/fighters will be released 6-10 months later for $40
