Hmm. Well, in my case the info I use for my Windows Live log in was only used on whatever sites required it. The only ones that I know of are the Xbox, Xbox.com and there is one that escapes me now. My password was different so I'm not sure how that's my fault?
And the guy in the Kotaku article, how was it his fault?
I can see if you use the same e-mail and password on myriad sites, then yes I think you're opening yourself for failure.
The crazy thing is why on Earth anyone would want these accounts in the first place, just for the prestige of having a respected account?!? I could undertsnad the whole FIFA debacle because of the money aspect with Ultimate Team. But people paying actual money just to have a gamertag?
I've never heard of this on STEAM (But I don't play on PC) or on PS3. Both have systems in place where you earn a reputation, collect virtual accolades, etc. But you only hear about this shit on Xbox.
Your windows live ID being hacked it pretty much your own fault as most likely it was picked up from some keylogger you may have picked up browsing anywhere and not having up to date flash and java on your machine. This sorta thing even happends on macs so blaming microsoft isn't the problem. It happends way to often these days. I'm sure everyone has seen someones facebook profile sending out shit and I'm sure at this point everyones seen a gmail, yahoo, hotmail ect ect account sending out spam. It's all identity theft these days and there is little "hacking" going on. Microsoft isn't the only one being affected it by. You might only choose to think that but they are the only ones with problems.
The biggest problem out of all of this is there is a shit ton of this stuff going on and cops frankly don't have the man power to go after guys that are stealing small amounts of online things and then reselling it. It comes down to things like would you rather have your time being spent going after people who may be stealing a couple grand worth of online identities or go bust some crack house with 10s of thousands of dollars in it. Blaming Microsoft for something that they themselves have tried hard to stop is not right. Just remember though everytime you call some place and they ask you a billion questions like "what was your first pets name" and your getting pissed off because you want to get your problem sorted out, that they are doing it to curb identitiy theft and are trying everything can to make sure you are who you are.

Megaman legends hd collection. People have been clamouring for it for a while. I'd sell my soul for that collection

Sony is Suing Kevin Butler
Following a bizarre turn of events and a highly unlikely TV commercial, actor Jerry Lambert - for years the "face" of the PlayStation brand - is being sued, along with Bridgestone, by none other than Sony itself.
Despite having made something of a name for himself playing the fictional PlayStation executive Kevin Butler, last month Lambert appeared in an advertisement for Bridgestone tyres playing a competitor's product, the Nintendo Wii.
Strangely, the commercial was later edited to remove Lambert from it entirely. Which seemed weird, but it may be explained by the fact that on September 11, Sony Computer Entertainment America filed a suit (spotted by gumby_trucker @ NeoGAF) against both Bridgestone and Wildcat Creek, a company registered in 2007 by...Jerry Lambert, who according to California Secretary of State data is also its president (it appears to be the registered name for Butler's handling of his business affairs).
Sony is suing both companies over trademark infringement, I'd wager for their use of Lambert - synonymous now with the PlayStation brand - in a scenario involving video games that aren't PlayStation games. It would also be crazy if the fine print of Lambert's contract with Sony didn't include some mention of not being seen to endorse competing products for some set amount of time.
We've contacted both Sony and Bridgestone for comment on the specifics of the case, and will update if we hear back.
UPDATE - It appears attempts have been made to settle the suit privately, but these have not proved decisive, with the court ordering that both parties commit one way or another to a formal hearing by October 12.

From that video it looks like I definitely would've. I love quests (missions), loot and simplistic REAL TIME action. The funny thing is that I didn't even get into these games until a few years ago. I also associated all RPGs with JRPGs that had turn based battles and other gaming tropes that I despised. I think one of the first games I played like that that I really enjoyed was Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I loved Dungeon Hunter, which is cheesy as hell too. And of course Borderlands is my favorite game of this generation and it's just one of those games with first person shooting added in. I also enjoyed Crimson Alliance and need to get back top Torchlight and a bunch of others. The co-op aspect is awesome too.Comment

Yeah, I saw that. It should be right up my alley. I'll wait for a sale though, as I did with Crimson Alliance, Torchlight, etc. I have too many games that I haven't even touched. I should mention that CA was pretty disappointing with it's complete lack of loot. I'm also surprised that RAW seems to only be TWO player co-op. Really, just two?
Oh, and as to your comment on my YouTube video about the slow dashboard. I have much more content on my PS3 and it takes a fraction of that time to boot up. I shouldn't have to delete anythin. It's just a fucking slow interface. According to my cousin, who's in the beta for the new dashboard, it's even worse. Great. Looking forward to it.:maynard:Comment
