MY PS3 is fucked up. I have to eject and re-insert a disc about 5 or 6 times before it reads the disc. Anyone know what would be causing this?

What version of the console is it? It's either the disc (perhaps dirty) but most likely the system is about to take a dump. It happened to my 60gb ps3 a couple of years ago (on my freaking Bday). I got it to work (looked at YouTube videos) for about a month or two longer till I could save $.

120 GB slim. About 3 years old and it's not the discs.

It's most likely the actual blu ray laser itself, probably shot. Try throwing in a dvd and see what happens?

I love FTL! I got to the end one time on easy, and the final boss really feels legitimately impossible. XCom is, thankfully, a little more forgiving (but still has the potential to go horribly wrong at any time).

I've made it to the boss three times on easy now but haven't beat it yet. I would have fairly easily with the Engi ship but I wasn't expecting it to run away and didn't disable its FTL drives and it got away.
