Finished up The Witcher 2 tonight. Any fan of RPGs and/or good stories needs to play that game asap. Since I got a free two weeks from GameFly, I got Dead Space 3 in the mail (had Metal Gear Rising at the top of my queue, but it was out of stock apparently). So I'm going to start on that sometime on Sunday and get through that before Tomb Raider drops on the 5th.Comment

got my hands on some PC games over the last while:
Antichamber - Finished the game. Excellent design, if you got a PC it's almost a must play. I love a game that requires you to think.
The Bridge - Very simple puzzle game involving you rotating the map to get to your objective (a door, or something a key then the door). Design is outstanding and I'm really enjoying it so far.
Stronghold 3 - Older game that I never got around to playing, really having fun with it. Finished the economic campaign, fairly challenging to manage your settlement as it becomes large in size. Bit heavy in micromanagement but overall pretty cool.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Actually got into this a couple weeks ago, I can't explain why I like it so much. You literally just drive a fucking truck, but it requires an interesting level of challenge. A very patient level of concentration required as you're barreling down the highway doing 100km/h and cars are ripping past you. Lulz are had when you topple your truck over trying to make a corner too fast. Incredibly boring concept definitely surprised me with enough entertainment to continue to play it off an on.
Kentucky Route Zero - Definitely seems like a neat game, but I just wasn't in the mood for it when I played so I can't say much. Will give it a go again in the future. A little heavy on the dialogue at first which I just wasn't up for at the time.
Farming Simulator - So I got a bit carried away with driving a Truck and thought this might be cool, it wasn't. After 2 hours of the tutorial I had enough, it's literal fucking work to plow fields and harvest grain. Who the fuck wants to do that? I smashed my tractor and turned that shit off.Comment

One of the guys that I subbed for DayZ videos put out some Euro Truck Simulator stuff on the side, and it just seems like a pretty relaxing game. I was really tempted to get it when GMG had it on sale for $15.Comment

Your dude will get tired and doze off, so you gotta rest up at gas stations (no lot lizards tho )
Driving in the night/rain is kinda hard, visibility is minimal and it's real easy to plow some poor fuckers car off the road or go flying into a ditch. I may just get into a severe accident on purpose to see the consequences.
You get dinged for speeding/violating red lights/accidents/etc. But none of which seem to have much effect on my money so not so much a big deal. I haven't pushed the limits and just ignored it completely tho to see if it'll get worse.
I haven't had to go very far yet, I started myself in Switzerland and have went to Italy/France/Germany/Austria, but just over the border. A 3 hour drive is about 10 minutes in the game. So when I have to haul all the way to like Scotland, I imagine that'll take a real life hour and be hard to keep good time.Comment

So the dev team that is most notable for making Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero games is making a Call of Duty title?
Also now wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't MW4.
Although hey, now that there's a new dev team working on a CoD, maybe they'll throw something new into the series for the first time in ages.Comment
