Nintendo’s Hiroshi Yamauchi Dead at 85

Hiroshi Yamauchi, who ran Nintendo for more than 50 years and led the Japanese company's transition from traditional playing-card maker to video game giant, has died. He was 85.

I want to say that it was suggested a while ago and the site owners at the time shot it down because they didn't want to deal with the trades/sales that went wrong. I might be thinking of another site though.

Well, Operation Bravo for CS:GO just paid for itself. I got $6 after selling a Bravo Weapon Case on the Steam Marketplace.

I start a game of Demon's Souls, fresh first run, and I quickly learn why the game is as hard as advertised.

I'm not even able to handle the heavier first set of knights in the Bol...something or other Castle place without getting stomped.

It feels like it's a fun game but I won't have time to put in some more work on it until later.

That game is all about patience and taking things slow. One wrong move, and you can easily throw away a couple hours of progress. On the other hand, stretches of the game can become trivial once you learn how things work and how to play your character.

All I want to do is roll up on some dopey undead knights and mash the hit button...

Then I notice that EVERYTHING eats up stamina and I realize my folly as I die over... and over... and over...

I really didn't find Demon's Souls to be that difficult. Found it to be WAY easier than Dark Souls, just because I found Dark Souls more unique, less linear world to be way more daunting (gameplay-wise, it's pretty much the same, only with a few more systems to up the challenge). What are you playing as JayDizzle? The first time I ran through Demon's Souls, I found that the Royal (magic class, basically) was much much easier than other classes to start.

Just plain warrior/fighter class.

I put the game down for a while in any case.

Yeah my next game won't be until Battlefield 4.
