I saw Bret Hart was in the game. I almost want to Gamefly it for that fact alone. Is he a pre-order bonus exclusive?

If you pre-ordered from Best Buy, I think you can get Bret early in the game as opposed to playing to unlock him.

The same for all the other stuff you'd get if you bought it from a different store (the extra arena and player outfits for Orton and Taker).

I played Majinn and the Forsaken Kingdom demo. The game is shit. I'll buy it when it hits $10 a month after release.

Even a shitty game is worth $5-$10 except Quantum Theory, you should get money for playing that game.

I'm using my old GH2 guitar right now.

I couldn't find anyone with the pro guitars yet and I've heard they arn't coming out till Dec/Jan.

Outside of that the game has changed a bit. The meat and potatoes gameplay is still the same but there isn't much to change there. It feels like the hammer on's are a lot more difficult this year but that could be rust on my part.

The menu screen is completely different and quite odd. The way you play over live is different as well.

I played for about 5 hours last night. The room mate and me just played a ton of quick play. I noticed my "band" was getting fans from just the quick play and when he was signed in using his offline profile he was getting them too. When I played live with a buddy we were both acquiring fans for our separate bands which is a nice change. Last year you had to be the host to get fans.

The song selection is personally not as good as RB2's setlist. RB1 songs are there right in the begining but no option for RB2's song to be imported yet. I've heard they are having licensing issues.

I'm not really digging RB3, mostly because it seems like 75% of the songs have been in previous GH games.

May be better once I get my hands on one of the Pro controllers but until then, meh.
