Man, I'm loving life right now. I suddenly got my "video game obsession" back up and running. Beat "Heavy Rain" and have been getting back into NCAA 2011 and yes I'm a fag and my buddies convinced me to get in WoW (and I've gotta say I'm semi-addicted).
But it's on to the next game and I've got a lot of options which is great.
So I go to the brains here at VSN and ask for help:
Mass Effect (just a few hours in)
Red Dead Redemption (a few hours in, stopped playing because it gave me RROD)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (haven't started, need to know if it's worth just going crazy and playing MGS 2 and MGS 3 first. Make it a Metal Gear Christmas)
Ballad of Gay Tony
Borderlands (a few hours in)
Mod Racers
Forza 3
I will take suggestions off the board tooI give rep not thanks

1)Red Dead Redemption
2) Mass Effect
3) Borderlands(co-op it if you can find someone to play with)
4) MGS4
MGS4 isn't going to be as great to anyone who isn't at least aware of the events in MGS games. It's a lot of talking/cut scenes, a lot of deep history.Comment

I'm currently playing the add-on to RDR (Undead Nightmare) on Single Player.
So far, so good with saving survivors and giving them ammo (which mathematically never makes sense because even with 15 pistol bullets between 3 people, it's never enough to kill ALL the zombies around) and doing missions.
There's less of a sense of dicking around as ammo is scarce unless you rummage through every re-deaded corpse you make but it's still GOOD.
As for the regular game, there's a reason why there's talk of the GTA series and how RDR tops it.Comment

The Undead Nightmare disc (the physical copy going around in stores) comes with Undead Nightmare and the previous DLCs before that in one package.
If you want the full RDR experience, get it.Comment
