The moves/combos are supposed to be(at least that's what I've heard in watching streams of the game) the same as they've been since the first MK games.Comment

Of course I was exaggerating but I still don't think they are easy to pull off by any means.
Wombat from CAG speculated a while ago that they would have QTE's for the fatalities, which I thought would've been an awesome idea for someone like me. At least I couldn't button mash through a match and get to see an awesome fatality. But of course that isn't happening.Comment

Special moves aren't hard to pull off at all Twigg, the challenge of every fighting game is implementing them properly. Not saying that there is anything wrong with being terrible at games, but the button combinations for special attacks is rarely the actual issue.Comment

A lame QTE where you "hit A now!" and then "hit B now!" to get a fatality off is just gay as hell and would continue the trend to cater to lazy gamers.

The whole point of fatalitys arn't to make them easy to produce at the end. I can remember when I was kid when MK Ultimate came out and Brutalitys were introduced. I spent literally hours learning and getting the combo's down to get the brutality to go. Nothing is more satisfying when you finally learn and get down a combo of 12 to 15 moves to get that kick ass fatality down.

You know the people that claim hard to is too hard in rock band or the people that buy sports video games and hate the fact they can't just pick it up and be allstars.
Not willing to put the time into a game and then turn around bashing it because of their inability to not control their ADD.

The medium to hard gap is where I make the distinction of whether you really want to play it or not. Getting used to the orange button isn't hard at all especially with the way games like Rock Band wheened you into it. It honestly should only take you a solid hour or two of playing the easy songs on hard to get yourself acustomed to the orange button and then it just takes maybe another 4 hours of solid playing to get the hang of it to the point wher its not an issue anymore.
Fighting games were always a pick up and play for a while game for myself. I was never crazy good at them but knew most of the moves and combo's and could beat the avg. person 9 times out of 10.
