How long did it take you to beat it? I'm on the 2nd part now and it's about 50% clear so I think I only have 1 more island to go.

im not sure of the exact hours but the last island is the shortest so your more then halfway to the end

It took me around 30hrs but i did every side mission and found most of the blast shards.

what happened with that Mya lady? the one who was giving you orders over the radio for most of the game. maybe i missed it but did they really tell you who she actually was?

what happened with the crazy bitch (the boss of the first island) who did all the mind control shit? i thought her and cole were gonna get it on.

i assume the good ending is vastly different? like all peace is returned and whatnot?

Once you meet with John and start helping him get to the Ray Sphere, he tells you he doesn't know who the fuck she is.

Mya, it turns out, is working for a rival government branch that's been keeping an eye on John to find out where the Ray Sphere is so she can swipe it.

Basically she's trying to make sure NOBODY gets to use the Ray Sphere again.

Once Cole hears this, he tells her to go fuck herself.

She retaliates by ordering air strikes on the Historical District.

Kessler had her captured after you beat her and uses her toxins to make mind control gas.

Since you played as Evil Cole, you still keep in touch with her all the way through until you hear that Kessler kills her from sapping all the toxin.

As for the Good Cole Ending...

 

Cole gets a Superman Complex where he acknowledges that he CAN'T be everywhere at once when people need him.

He realizes that Empire City will eventually turn on him because of this.

If you haven't played them then you should definitely get it. Both are very good games.

Edit: And Best Buy is having a B2G1 sale next week on all games. Keep that in mind.

The prettier the game, the less people that can play it. One of the difficulties of developing for the PC market is lack of unified specs across the potential consumers.
