Been on a road trip for the past 2 weeks almost and by now am pretty stoked to get home, smoke too much, and play more video games. Mainly Spider-Man, Skyrim, NCAA 13, and finally beat Shadow of the Colossus.

The Max Payne 3 multiplayer looks pretty dead on PS3. I tried to get into some free aim matches and ended up playing 1-on-1 for two games before I quit. I have no idea how things look in the soft lock lobbies, but I refuse to degrade myself playing those modes.

I finished NFS the Run tonite......fun litte game. You can finish the story mode in like one sitting. Took about 3-4 hours. Challenges and online is what is left. Fun little game.

So Michael Fassbender will star in the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie according to IGN. It doesn't say which character he will be playing, but it does say "iconic hooded hero," which would lead me to believe he'll be Altair, and not Desmond. He'll also be co-producing the film.

Halo 2 HD coming??

A new rumor suggests that 343 Industries is developing a Halo 2 Anniversary edition. According to the UK print edition of Official Xbox Magazine, "Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary.”

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary hit stores last November and offered a full HD remake of the original game with added Kinect and online functionality in honor of its ten year anniversary. Halo 2 was originally released in November 2004, but Microsoft would presumably release the remake a year or two ahead of its ten year milestone.

We reached out to Microsoft for comment and a spokesperson told us “Our focus right now is on developing Halo 4. Beyond that, we do not comment on rumors or speculation.”

I haven't played any Assassin's Creed games which one should I start with

Skip 1 and start with 2 and then play through the rest. You'll definitely want to read up on the AC1 story tho and watch some videos.

I'm probably going to go back and play 1 at some point before 3 comes out, but from everything I hear it gets pretty painfully repetitive and boring at times.
