Get a router that has wireless and wired capabilities. If you can have your console wired to the router it'll perform the best over any WiFi in my opinion.

I finally got my heli keyboard/mouse controls for BF3 sorted. There is a bug where you can't successfully remap the mouse movement without manually changing some values in a config file. It's much more intuitive to fly now, but I can't turn fast enough. I'm not sure if that's a mouse issue or just poor coding.

I might end up using my PS3 controller to fly.

installed skyrim again...got all the patches from steam and got all the mods re installed. game is running great now. some real nice mods out there make it feel like another version of the game

PSN download speeds suck.
An 18MB patch for NFS:MW took 10 minutes, that isn't counting the 7 hours it took to download the game.

I have a fat PS3, are the new ones any better?

My 360 doesn't have an issue with speed

The only issue I've ever had, at least the past year or so, was with DCUO. After trying multiple times to download it and letting it go for more than 24 hrs twice, I gave up.

An 18MB patch would only take me a minute, tops, and I'm on wireless. I jsut downloaded a patch for MoH the other day that was much, much larger and it took a few minutes.

But I also can't remember the last time I've ever downloaded a full retail sized game. R&C All 4 One maybe?

In regards to Salukis space or the DL time? Because if it's the latter you are definitely wrong. I have downloaded games on Steam and Live while a single game downloads on PSN. GAMES.

Extensive time with downloads on all platforms with the same results. Just as quick no matter what system. Boils down to possibly router or modem problems
