so now that both consoles have been out for a decent time.. is there a go to system? or is it pretty much down to preference and game exclusives?

i don't have either of them but from what i have heard and seen

PS4's controller is better, better hardware in it.

Xbox has better exclusives and the whole kinect voice thing owns..

Do you want a game console or an entertainemnet console? If you just care about games PS4 would be the better option. If you like the ability to connect your tv through your console then the XBone would be better.

FYI, the voice commands on XBone are very cool but I find that they only work about 70% of the time tops. And yes, for people like PT I have fully calibrated the Kinect.

Also, surprisingly, things like party chat, friend requests, friend lists, etc are much better on PS4. I'm not sure how MS did it but they screwed the pooch. "Following" friends is just dumb. Notifications are stupid and very easy to miss. Party chat is confusing and only seemd to work about half the time. Plus you have to manully turn chat ON when you enter a party which makes ZERO sense. Also, for some reason teh console constantly asks you to sign in your profile even though it does it automatically when the console first starts up.There is supposed to be a dashboard update soon that allegedly fixes a lot of the issues but I'm not holding my breath.

If you just want to play games and want a console that just plain works, then it's PS4 all the way.

Yup. I hope JHen has a lot of finger dexterity and hand strength because he's going to be hanging from that cliff for quite some time.

TellTale's definition of "coming soon" seems to be much different that then average person or company.

I bought Splinter Cell: Conviction on Steam. I'm not sure if I should buy the earlier games too.

I picked up Splinter Cell: Blacklist yesterday since I had a free code from an Nvidia. I haven't played Splinter Cell since one of the early ones, probably the first one.

There is some back story from Conviction to Blacklist but honestly it is that big of a deal. Conviction was meh...Blacklist was awesome IMO. Looks great on the PC as well...it was one of my favorite games of the year. I really enjoyed the stealth in that game it it wasnt overly difficult. Great game.
