You can coax a player out of retirement in Madden 10. - No you can't...

In rainy games receivers and your QB slip, and balls do not have the same accuracy. - Maybe, but in the NFL teams run more than pass.
I don't know what you were attempting to do there...

Stats- Your opinion, once again, never seen it, so I don't think you can speak for the madden community there.

Cap penalties- You can absolutely clear them. If you're over the cap and you need to sign a player to play your next game, it will ask you if you want to release a player or clear cap penalties.

Retirement- On the player retirement screen, press Y. You will have several options. You can buy several different "coax a player out of retirement" options, they are like 200 MS points and it can be reused every offseason.

Weather- You said players should drop the ball often. Ask any veteran Madden 10 player, players slip all over the place and more passes are dropped then in fair weather games.

Seriously not sure what you were trying to do there. I was just pointing out the things that are already available in Madden, your welcome.

I have never seen it, I have heard people get the option but they don't know how they got it.

I added details to that if you didn't see them.

Everything that the offline franchise has should be included with the online franchise. From editing players equipment and chaging their positions to having a salary cap and having the game choose probowlers and hand out awards.

Also, do something with that bare bones franchise site. You cant view stats, propose trades, the messaging system is lacking, no weekly news, no tabbed browsing. Shit is the worst.

Get rid of predetermined draft classes and have them auto generate season to season. It sucks to be able to cheat and see who are the best potential players in the draft. This takes away the suspense of the draft when everyone in the online franchise is doing this. Find a way to implement the scouting aspect into the online franchise so that everyone will not be able to know everyones ratings before they are drafted. Only the players you scout should show ratings.

Bring back position subs for everything. I dont want Kellen Winslow, who I put as my 4th WR to be covering kickoffs. I want the option to sub him out. We had this in Madden 09 but these idiots take yet another useful feature away.

Im sure there is more but people have already spoke on a lot of stuff.

I'm not a fan of potential at all in any sort of way. I think it should be taken out completely. Hidden or shown, both ways it should be taken out.

I think they should have players in phases. On the rise, peak, and then on the decline. When they are on the rise they can continue to get better based on performances and there is nothing stopping him. When he is at the peak of his career he can't get any better but he can't get any worse either. Then when he's on the decline he can only ever get worse stay at a certain overall til the end of his career. If he plays horrible then he'll decline a lot. If he plays just ok then he'll decline a little. If he plays outstanding then he should still be at the peak of his career. I hope thats not too confusing
Very good idea but if the wanted to keep the potential grades they can but take it deeper.

Make a progression chart varying from position and progression scales based on potential grades. At the end of 4 game intervals each player gets a score or grade, all 4 scores are added up and averaged out at the end of the season. Based on that average the player makes a jump/decrease based on their potential and performance through out the season.

This way you dont restrict the ceiling on how much better player can get but the potential grade just determines how fast that progression takes place. A player with A potential could reach a 99, depending on his initial rating, in say 5 years while a player with C potential may take 8 years.

Thats just off the top of my head but you get the gist.

You can veiw stats, propose trades and view weekly news on the franchise site, assuming the commish has posted any.

I'd very much like to see strongside and weakside LBs, the only way to do that now is to guess which side will be the strong side before the play and switch your LBs, it's stupid

And I'd also like to see on the depth chart a spot for the individual DT spots. A spot for the NT and the spot for the UT.

FIFA 10-like locomotion. Walk>Jog>Run>Sprint. Foot planting, proper deceleration and acceleration, 1 foot and 2 foot gather jumps. Realistic/believable verticals, and the same for jumping.

You mean the commish has to manually post this or enable a feature for it to automatically update? I dont see any stats on the league website.

There isnt a list of stats like you see in game with league leaders or full team stats but there are individual stats and when i say individual i mean individual. You go to "roster" click on the player you want to view stats of and there attributes should show up. Right next to attributes is "Stats" and thats where you can view stats.

Didnt realize that. I knew you could view attributs but didnt pay attention to the stats link. That said its still pretty shitty that you cannot look at league leaders, statistics from previous season etc...
