Paying For MW2.. lol

I barely play it as it is, so I would never even contemplate paying to play online.
Would a subscription model even work for a FPS? I could see some people getting addicted to RPGs and the like because of how much you can make your character your own, but could you get addicted to MW2 to the extent of WoW? I doubt it, although I do see this one kid always playing MW2 when I walk past his room.Comment

I will be buying them either way because maps like Highrise, Terminal and Rust are terrible as far as campers and glitchers, but I was wondering how this would be dealt with.Comment

Only EA could pull off some BS like that. Meanwhile popular titles find a way to release extra content for free, but somehow EA finds it necessary to charge a madeup fee on a game that's already a cash cow. People are suckers tho so they'll pay for it and then complain after the fact. Same thing with that pile of shit Madden that they push every year, people eat it up and then complain about how they've been ripped off.Comment

I have two weeks to play it and then I'm done. Once MLB the Show drops I probably wont ever touch it again.Comment

Win-Win
A FPS (which is nothing more than a 3 year old game with a new coat of paint) isn't worth a monthly subscription what so ever.Comment

However, a lot of people would pay. I imagine they would marginalize most of their audience and lose a lot of numbers, but still make a profit. I remember someone on here mentioned their friends who go to work, come home drink energy drinks and play COD all night every night. I bet there are a load of these people.
Damn idiots.

Call of Duty Service?
Remember the main group of peopel that play this game are kids or college students. Not exactly a hotbed for 3 monthly fees.Comment

Pretty much the truth, although EA is still doing bullshit with DLC. Hell, they released "soul packs" for Dante's Inferno.Comment
