Almost upset Chelsea. Went down 2-0 early and evened it up until they scored the game winner in the 80th minute.

Alan Shearer became the Blackburn Rovers boss after they fired Allardyce. He just won a Manager of the Month award, and has dragged Rovers out of Relegation (and above me)Comment

Sold Ronald Zubar and Matt Jarvis in the January window. Brought in John Fleck. It's a nightmare trying to get anyone to come to Wolverhampton. Been rejected so many times with lucrative wage packetsqComment

Kevin Doyle slots one under Van Der Sar in the 93rd minute to steal all the points versus Manchester United!!!
20 shots for United vs 7 for me
63% poss for United
This puts me on 30 points, sitting in 15th place, 7 pts clear of relegation.
What a win!
(This is the kind of game that playing as United would have had me raging. Feels so good on the other side)
9 matches left in the seasonComment

Arsenal won the PL with 5 games remaining in the season, 82 pts so far, 25-7-1 record. 65 gf, 17 ga.
Spurs, United, West Ham (?!) round out the Top 4. City, Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea are the next four.
Sunderland won the Carling Cup and has already wrapped up an Europa league spotComment

Fulham lost to me and got relegated, then 3 days later got hammered 7-0 in the FA Cup final. Not the way they wanted that dream to endComment

£15.75 mil budget for the upcoming season, all to avoid relegation again. I think that should be doable. The £20 mil budget for mid table was tempting, but I figured I'd play it safeComment

It is fucking impossible to get anyone to sign with Wolves. John Mensah, Luis Suarez and Steven Pienaar all turning me downComment
-
15 mil? You could get Tevez for that in my game. He's scored 23 in 23 for Man City in January and they sold him to Madrid for 13 mil.
In the meantime, I can't sell Best, Shola, Raylor, or Nolan for free.
Thought the new patch was going to fix this.Originally posted by mgoblue2290If you want to win, put Drew in.Comment

I think it has to do a lot with the larger use of the reputation feature. I have made a couple signings though, ones which I am really happy with. For some reason, this is probably my most 'English' game ever. I have also been raiding the lower divisions of English football like never before (Hobbs, Wickham, Cairney)
Jermain Pennant - £425k from Zaragoza
Connor Wickham - £2.1 mil from Ipswich (promising young English striker)
Thiago - Free from Barcelona (he is one of their wonderkids. He refused to even talk to me in season, but once he was out of contract, became much more receptive. A fat contract helped as well)
Tom Cairney - £3.5 mil from Hull (another lower league player, great creative midfielder)
I am also hopeful of bringing in Jonathon de Guzman and ideally another rightback. Will also look for a cheap reserve keeperComment

Cairney was a nice pick up CB. He's been really solid for me and is a good young player.Comment

Thanks. Him and Thiago both looked good against the Ballack/Rolfes midfield I played against in Dortmund in my first friendlyComment

Alrighty, here is the transfer summary
Transfers In-
Jermaine Pennant - £450k from Zaragoza
Tom Cairney - £3.5 mil from Hull

Quite enjoying bringing guys up from the Championship. Guys like Hobbs, Clyne, Wickham and Cairney aren't complete unknowns for FM players or Champo watchers, but it makes me feel like David MoyesComment
