Finished my first season as manager of ManU after leaving Everton and finished 2nd. Newcastle won their second title in four years. I brought in Schweinsteiger in January to boost up the midfield and he really didn't impress all that much besides scoring in his first appearance (and that proved to be his only goal of the campaign). Chicharito and Rooney were magnificent together up top and my young striker Zorpas did good in his starts and substitutions. Eric Onana (22 years old) was my big signing in the summer transfer window before the season and he performed up to his $48.5 mil transfer fee. We did have some tough losses that cost us the title but it was a great campaign. I've got 34 year old Arjen Robben coming in on a free and he still has the talent to compete.
Forgot to mention that we won the League Cup and it was my 3rd one as a manager in this save.

I grabbed the demo but only played with it enough to check out the interface (like) and the 3-D match graphics (fucking love it). My PC is pretty powerful but man, the matches look a full step better than last year. Its not yet on the level of console sports titles but since its not the primary focus, I don't think it ever will be.
After only playing FM11 a bit (mainly due to only building my computer in March), I think I'll be putting some long hours into FM12. Yeah!Comment

Demo is nearly finished downloading for me. I'll hopefully be checking it out in a few minutes here.

New things I've noticed that I like are the "shouts" that allow you to have preset instructions that you can just click once instead of having to hit them each individually. I also like the individual instructions you can give to a player before game and how you want to say it (calm, assertive, etc.).

The age old question of video gaming... Personally, I rarely bother with pirating at this point. I can afford to buy the game and its just easier to deal with. Hate dealing with can I patch it, or will an given add-on work, etc.Comment

I know I'm going to be buying '12 but there is going to be a new learning curve and I'm just so use to '11.

After I left Everton for ManU they hired Javier Aguirre. He lasted 1.25 seasons with them with a record of 23-9-16 in the Prem.

9 and 10 I paid. Last year I didnt, and everything was buttery smooth. Im leaning towards the purchase cuz as you guys said. The hassle nowadays is more of a pain in the ass than anything else.
Anyhow, more importantly, are we going to try and get a network game going? It worked for us last year for about 2 or 3 weeks.Comment
