I don't think I bothered for the demo. I never played it for any length, just tested out the feel of the game and to see what the 3-D match engine looked like...

Apparently you can dlownload the Resource Achiver through Steam to unpack FMF files, but that hasn't been necessary for previous versions and even the PNG packs of logos aren't working.

Started one with Everton. Using my own 4-4-1-1 formation that I used to use back on FM10. I turned off transfer budgets in the first window so the teams will be more or less what they are the end of the summer window.

I signed James McFadden on a free as Everton did IRL. Cahill broke his toe in the first friendly and is gonna miss the first 8 weeks. Not the best sign in the world, haha.

Finally got it going. There were some 2000+ unverified files that needed to be re-downloaded.

BigHouse what files did you delete/edit to open up the 'fake' Teams?

Look for the ini files in the DB folder. I think one of them is even straight-up called fake.ini so you can always do a search for that if you can't locate the DB folder.

Then open those three in textedit and delete everything in it, then save.

Shit. I just deleted them completely off the computer last night. I was hoping you were going to say a different file.

EDIT: I'm going to just uninstall/reinstall the game.

Don't. Deleting them should work. Try to start a new game using that DB and as long as it doesn't give you a "files missing" error, you should be fine.

It's to late. I deleted them completely and still couldn't access the German team. It happened for FM11 as well. Deleting them doesn't work for me.

Are you trying to start a new game after deleting or going back into an existing save? Deleting them, or clearing them and saving, won't affect games already started...

Nope, I've been starting new ones to test everything out and it was not available.
