I'm into January '12 with Everton and was on the verge of selling Jelavic. He had started the season well scoring 4 goals in about the first month. Then he went on a 4 month goal drought. He was demoted to the bench after the first month of not scoring for Velios who netted 5 goals (2 against our 3-3 tie to ManU). I eventually was rotating Velios, Anichebe and Jelavic. Anyway it's January 21 and I'm set to give Jelavic one last chance and he nets a hat trick. So now I'm prepared for another 4 month goal drought.
EDIT: Another note, I've lost Howard for the rest of the season and am desperately looking for a keeper to split with Mucha.

I sent the young German regen I've been raving about out on loan to Schalke. He's got 6 in 10 so far and it may be time to bring him in permanently next seasonComment

Quick recap on my NUFC game. We fell off pretty hard at the end of the 2014-2015 season, finishing seventh with a win in the League Cup and a quarter final finish in the Champions League, so I was relatively happy.
In terms of transfers, I didn't do much this off season.
Brought in Aleksander Ignjovski from Werder for £11.5 mil, Aaron Lennon for £3.5 mil, Oscar Zarate for £5.5 mil from Sociedad. Also got Miguel Torres for a short term loan from Valencia.
Heading out was some hard decisions. Jeffrey Gouleleeuw to Burnley was one of my first signings and I felt bad letting him go. Cheik Tiote was getting forced out by younger people, so he moved to Lille. Davide Santon struggled with me, so he is gone to Lille. Papiss Cisse has struggled to recover from his terrible leg break and lost all his attributes. He's on loan at Schalke, and I hope he can do well there. Sidney Sam also moved to Schalke
So far this season I am 4th after nine games with 4 big wins and 5 boring draws. City and United are already running away with itComment

Argh. Bayern want me. They are 5th in the Bundesliga, 5 points back of the leaders. They are also in the Champions League, in 3rd, 2 points back of Villa who is leading their group with 3 games to play.
There aren't a lot of jobs I'd leave NUFC for, but this one is nice. Squad is decent, if a bit old (Lahm, Schweiny, Gomez, Ribery and Robben are all still key players). £9.5 mil to spend in January with a £1.7 mil wage bill
Not much of a raise personally. Wish I could see their real financesComment

You left for Bayern right? I've only ever left Everton once and that was after 5-6 seasons to ManU. If I had ever gotten an offer from Germany I would go, but I typically don't get many offers when I'm playing with Everton.

Too bad Cheik is gone
Well, Bayern came back with an improved offer. And I just got tonked by Man City. Time to run away from the Prem and move to GERMANY!
Saved just in case I change my mind, but looking forward to it nowComment
