I think I'm the only person that plays this. I'm having a blast playing it by myself.

I've played it. Kinda waiting till Zipper comes out with the patch. They need to fix the party system. (It's close to impossible to play with your clan).

The camera needs to be fixed. I WANT TO SEE 3RD PERSON FFS!

Fix the teleporting too.

They originally said end of April, beginning of May. But with the whole network issue it may have been delayed. I can see it dropping within the next 2-3 weeks.

No one will answer my question...how does this stack up with fps games like battlefield 2? I've never played a Socom game before and got it on a whim and can't decide if I should return it or not..

SOCOM is not traditionally an FPS. It's third-person with some FPS mechanics.

I know its a third person shooter. I just want to know how the multiplayer compares to popular fps games since I've never played Socom.

It's smooth as butter man. Seriously the smoothest online game I've played, it's like playing offline.Gameplay wise I absolutely love it, it's given me that Socom itch back. Just try it out man, something made you get it in the first place, you might as well see what all the fuss is about.

When I see reviews for it I see some people that think its garbage and guys like you that love it. The thing that appeals to me is how there's no respawns. But yeah every time I look at it the more itch I have to pop it in.
