Oh, you meant there is a glitch in the DLC. I thought you meant the game proper. That sucks.

I don't know how I'm going to complete some of these challenges. Kill 5 zombies on fire in one deadeye use? WTF?!? I've tried throwing fore bombs at large groups but only one or two ever seem to catch fire.

Is it even possible to free every town at once? I freed about ten or so towns and then got a message saying Blackwater was overrun again.

Yeah, it happens in the DLC. I think part of it is because I stopped playing UN after I met the nun at the train station (which allows you to actually enter Las Hermanas). When you get there, try to at least clear out Las Hermanas before you turn off the game.

That's not even the worst challenge. There's one where you have to kill one of every type of zombie in one Dead-Eye. That one is ridiculous. I'm still stuck trying to get it.

As for the fire one, go to Jorge's Gap west of Armadillo. There are a ton of zombies in the gully there. Either toss some bait down there to gather a crowd before tossing a fire bottle or just toss a few fire bottles before using the Dead-Eye.

And it is possible to free all of the towns at once. I would recommend not going back to the town under attack until you clear out all of the towns in Mexico. I don't think multiple towns come under attack at once. Also, I think towns get overrun in the same order that you saved them.

        Thanks for the heads up.

Is it the same nun you speak to in the regular game I guess?

          That's insane!

Yeah, I found Jorge's Gap while doing a mission. That place was a joke. I was actually trying to do a side mission for one of those doctors out in the middle of nowhere that needs a specimen. He happened to be right next to Jorge's. It was a joke. Every time I tried to hog tie a zombie ten more would attack me. I almost smashed my controller. Couple that with the time when I had to do that for another doctor near Pleasance House. There were tons of zombies over there. I finally get one on the back of my horse and the horse starts walking off a nearby cliff. I got to try to jump on it and steer it away but somehow Marston never gets on the horse even though I'm pounding triangle. He slides off the cliff and down below. The only way to get back up ids to take this long ass way around. By the time I get back there is no zombie on my horse. So close to rage quitting.

I finished up all the Missing Persons in Ft. Mercer and I finally found Pestilence in Tall Trees. Now I have 2 of the 4 horses. I've also been just reclaiming a town every time they get over run.

I'm about to head into Mexico.

Well, I guess I finished the campaign? It ended similar to the proper game.

I'm at 80%. I saved all the missing people and got the fourth horse upon completion. I guess the remaining 20% are challenges?

I'm at over 9 hours if anyone is wondering.

Challenges, the unicorn, and maybe a side mission.

I have to recapture Death so I can finish the damn Horses of the Apocalypse challenge in addition to finishing the sharpshooter challenges, but that means I'm going to have to wait until one of the Mexican towns comes under attack again.

What do you mean you need to recapture him? Did I fuck up by saving right after? If I whistle will he not come to me?

No. I didn't capture Pestilence before I finished the game. So I didn't unlock the last challenge when I got Death. So Pestilence is my steed for the time being until I get Death back.

I see. I found out anyway because I loaded up my save and it was all good.

I finished the hunting challenges. Got Chupacabra and I tamed the unicorn. Fuck yeah.

Now the only things I have left to do are find four treasures and complete a few more Sharpshooter challenges.

I tried Sharpshooter 3 by going to Jorge's Gap but got pissed off. I threw down bait and then threw a fire bomb. I lit about 8 on fire. I went into dead and killed six and it didn't work. And then of course even though I was on a cliff overlooking the gap I still got overrun by zombies.

I just watched a Youtube video where a dude did the Sharpshooter 3 by coating his bullets in phosphorus and then going into deadeye and killing 5 zombies.

Well, it's a good thing I decided to build some bait after about 5 minutes of riding around trying to find Death. You get a Blood Pact with Death in your inventory after you finish the game. So all I had to do was use it to get Death again. On to the other challenges...

                          100% completion son!

                          11 hrs, 14 mins and 41 secs.

                          I'd say I got my $10 worth.:D

Oh, snap, I thought you knew that? I thought maybe you did something before completing the game where you screwed it up and that's why you didn't have the Blood Pact.

I can't find a damn bear to save my life. I've been riding around Tall Trees and Bearclaw Camp for about 15 minutes, and all I run into are cougars and zombies.

I rarely check my inventory in this game. I wouldn't have noticed it without running out of bait.

I've never really had a problem finding bears in Tall Trees.

I was actually surprised how easy it was finding the Chupacabra and the Unicorn.
