I just got this game and it is pretty awesome. The randomness is really great. For example after getting my horse I went and checked out the USA/Mexico border to see the river. So I'm on a cliff with my horse enjoying the view and all of a sudden I hear a growl and a cougar/mountain lion comes flying out of nowhere and hits me off my horse and then flys off the cliff into the river. Unfortunately he killed my horse leaving me stranded pretty far from the only two places I really know.

Although if you don't like GTA games you probably aren't going to like this game.

cant you just whistle for a new horse after a few minutes

I have no idea seeing as I just got the game yesterday. I did get a new horse later on, a stallion, from a mission that I did.

That becomes annoying....the "ninja" cougars. Everything else you can hear coming but those bastards come out of nowhere.

You either ride fast through cougar areas......or ride medium to slow so you can hear a low growl before the strike. Once you hear that growl, stop immediately and aim at areas to spot the cougar before he launches.

So I was riding through Mexico and I came up on three guys holding another man up at gun point. I thought they were robbing him so I stopped to kill the three guys only to find out upon shooting them, they were Mexican Marshals/Lawmen. I'm guessing it was some kind of execution but anyways I was in Mexico about 10 minutes and now I've got a $120 bounty on my head.

Is there anyway back to America or am I stuck until I finish the Mexico portion of the game? I saw some railroad tracks going over the river but they weren't finished or blown up or something.

That happened to me as well. Either reload a previous save or pay the bounty with your money or with a pardon letter. Chances are you are probably carrying the maximum five pardon letters anyway.

Oh I don't really care all that much. I had two pardon letters I think but I've used them both. I'd prefer not to shell out $120 so where can I get another?

I honestly don't remember. I think you get them from doing random side missions.

Did or do any of yall get like freeze glitches? A few times Ive had the game just sit there. No buttons but the start button would work and the only option was "continue". You cant move, can only look around if thats an option. Cant use weapons.... nothing.. You just sit or stand there while everyone does their normal activities. Only way to fix it is to restart the game.

Never experienced anything like that. Is this the only game that you've experienced this? Could it possibly be your controller?
