Zerg is the toughest race in terms of APM, you should start with Protoss, not saying they're a nooby race I play with them, but their mechanics are much easier to learn than Zerg, esp with the inject nonsense. You miss a round of injections as zerg and you basically have thrown away 4 units. Protoss is best in team games with a 4 gate or 3 gate robo build. Build pylon on 9, gateway on 12, cyber after gateway finishes, warp gate immediately, pylon at 15, 3 more gateways when warp gate tech is about half done, then you have a solid foundation. Chrono boost warp gate tech is a must.

I don't do warp gate shit, mostly because I don't play 1v1, I play normally 3v3 or 4v4, and the other guys we play with worry about that thing. I basically go straight for void rays. So my build order is like, pylon on nine, gateway as soon as I can, then while that is coming in I build two gas things and get them stocked and going with three guys each, then build CyberCore, once that is done, slap down 2 pylons (also make more probs), then build normally two, somtimes three stargates, then once they are done, bring on the void rays.
Normally by the time they come with their first rush I have about 4 void rays ready and upgraded to level 1, so I can help from the air on the rush. Basically my objective when I play is to build them fast, go in the back way and fuck up the comps minerals and take out their shit. As I said, I only play with a bunch of friends so obviously this only works when you have someone else covering your back. I normally build about 16-24 of them and then head off to fight. It turns into a quick battle once i get that many going. All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
"rammer" and "cummings"
The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.Comment

I understood everything he said and its pretty much the standard build I roll with.
Been going 3 gate then 1 robo a lot though. With a couple immortals and 10-12 stalkers and 3 sentrys you can do some serious work if you don't fuck up with the force field placement. (which I always do cuz lulz)
