I've heard two different sides. Some people say it's really easy to cancel auto-renew now and can be done right on xbxox.com. Others say it's still a headache and MS will try to fuck you every chance they can.
My other question is this; I have about one year left on my subscription. If I get this I'll be good until August 2012. Could I just get a subscription card and still add it to the end of that to make be good until 2013, thus voiding the auto re-new because you can only stack three years at once? Can I add subscription cards at all after I do this?Comment

I think coop for Tomb Raider drops next week....cant wait. I haven't played the game yet....bought it and it is waiting to be played via coop.Comment

Ha! Yeah, I remember hearing that the sequel was coming out soon and there was supposed to be an advanced and combined version for PSN but haven't seen any release date.Comment

I just read on Destructoid that the first batch of DLC, which will be free to 360 users for the first 30 days, is just a bunch of challenge maps. Lame.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
The article also said that co-op won't be available right away for PS3 and PC either. Seriously? It took you, what, a month, to patch in co-op to 360? And now you won't have it ready day and date for the other versions? Unbelievably stupid.Comment

And I slept on it. Oh well. I thought it was going to be on sale through Tuesday. Apparently not.
For those that still want to get Live for $30, try to find a 1 month subscription card. I rwad this over at CAG and tried it myself and it works.
Enter the card code and your subscription will lengthen by one month. Log out of Live or turn off your 360 and then turn it back on. The $30 deal will show up on the Spotlight tab again.Comment

I haven't played the demo, but I always wait for a price drop or deal. Comic Jumper will be the first XBLA title I pay full price for. Ive heard mixed reviews on Hyrdophobia, but a lot of what they are saying doesn't actually seem like a real reason to downgrade the game.Comment

Boy was I dead wrong about Hydrophobia. Just played the demo and that game is a fucking train wreck. The graphics, other then the actual water is poor, the voice-acting is fucking horrendous, I cant understand anything Scoot says and the girl must be from a B horror film. The camera is way to junky, and the object interface is poorly slow. This is a $5 game at best.Comment

On the other hand, when I went to download Hydrophobia, I saw Arcania Gothic 4. This is the exact type of game that I just eat up. I fucking love the demo. These types of games are long gone and when you get one, you can't pass it up. Its such an old school RPG. The graphics are shit, but Im sure the quests get much better once you leave your village. The thing about Oblivion was the First person camera was a little bit annoying for me, where here its 3rd person. It's a shame this comes out the same day as Castlevania and Enslaved, its gonna sell like shit. Even I, a big fan, will pass on it because im buying the other two. Going to have to wait 3 months before buying it.Comment
