I haven't played the demo, but I always wait for a price drop or deal. Comic Jumper will be the first XBLA title I pay full price for. Ive heard mixed reviews on Hyrdophobia, but a lot of what they are saying doesn't actually seem like a real reason to downgrade the game.

FYI, CheapyyD from CAG played Comic Jumper at TGS and was very unimpressed with it. He said it's very repetitive and there isn't much to it.

Boy was I dead wrong about Hydrophobia. Just played the demo and that game is a fucking train wreck. The graphics, other then the actual water is poor, the voice-acting is fucking horrendous, I cant understand anything Scoot says and the girl must be from a B horror film. The camera is way to junky, and the object interface is poorly slow. This is a $5 game at best.

That sucks. I'm about to check ity out for myself. No matter how much I like it I'm not paying $15 either way.

I saw Joystiq gave it a 3/5 but I didn't get a chance to read the whole review.

Yea im very scared about Comic Jumper, there have been a few comments about it, all saying its shoot, shoot, shoot. With how much im spending in October, I might have to pass on it if the demo is poor.

OMG the demo to Comic Jumper was amazing, easily one fo the greatest things I've played on XBLA. As soon as I beat Castlevania and Enslaved, im buying that shit. The references and all around environment is awesome. The game is funny as hell too. Twisted Pixels can gladly have my money. They are the premiere developer on XBLA right now.

Man, I feel like we played different games. I loved the presentation but considering I started to get bored with the gun, gun, gun, shit in just the trial, and considering all that I've read is that that is the bulk of the game, I don't really feel that psyched about it.

CJ was decent. I love the aesthetic and the comedy but the game play is crazy repetitive. I'd get it for $10 but not $15.

I played the demo to Sonic 4. Very boring, bland and clunky. The new look actually looks worse. I prefer the old 8 bit graphics. I dont know if its worth $10 let alone $15. I read the game is 4 hours long.

I also played the demo to Star Wars the Force Unleashed 2. I liked this demo a lot more then the first games. I haven't gotten around to playing the first but the 2nd seemed so good, ima go and pick the first one up.

Last, the Dead Space 2 prequel, Ignition, is a big piece of shit. The controls are way to hard, the min i games are boring and repetitive, and the graphic novel presentation was very poorly done. Not worth $5.

Hey Twigg, I read that Alien Breed 2 actually added a horde mode to the game. I really think that could be fun, I love those type of modes.

Nice. You still need to help me beat AB1. I'll definitely get 2 when it goes on sale.

Who else bought Super Meat Boy? I played the demo and will probably buy it. Very similar to N+ which I really enjoyed. LOL at the alleged initial price point of $15 and they decided to offer it for $10 for a limited time. No way I can see that game worth $15.

So I checked the new releases in Arcade and saw Pinball FX 2. I click on it and see "Full Game-Free". I'm guessing it's a mistake but I'm downloading while the downloading's good!

Also, I see the online co-op update finally made it to Lara Croft. Now where is the free DLC they promised?

And does anyone know how long Super Meatboy will be on "sale"? I'm on the fence.

Meat Boy will be on sale until like Nov 12th or 21st. Forget the exact date. Im on the fence as well. I eat these games up because it reminds em of Splosion Man. I have 800 left over from the Red Dead.

I can not recommend Meat Boy enough. It's fantastic. Great sense of humor, right balance of challenge and giving you a sense of accomplishment for pulling off something spectacular. Plus with all the secret shit, there's an absolute crapload of levels. It's well worth 10 bucks if you like platformers.
