I hadn't even heard of this game until last night but it sounds pretty bad ass. Coming to PSN and XBLA, today and tomorrow respectively.

Deathspank has been discounted to 600 points this week for each game. Thats only $15 for both games. Fucking great deal.

I forgot about the EA games/content discounted this week. I picked up 3-on-3 NHL for 200 pts which was great because I had that dumb leftover 200 pts from the discounted Alan Wake DLC. Score! (no pun intended)

Also, am I the only one that likes ilomilo? I'm realy tempted to get it but I really don't have the time for it right now, and chances are it will be discounted at some point. I know it seems a lot of podcasters have been raving about it.

I played the NHL 3-on-3 a few times and it was fun...but I'm much better at NHL 11 haha.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but... FINALLY Konami is releasing X-men Arcade (the Arcade 90's classic) on XBL & PSN.

I used to LOVE that game when I was little, wasted tons of quarters playing it haha, sign me up when it's released.

anyone actually get this? I'm tempted to. A big co-op session would be pretty fun.

I got it for PS3 and played it a few times....it's not as challenging when you can respawn an unlimited number of times haha...I forgot how bad it was, all button mashing, no way to defend.

Yeah, I don't think that game is worth $10 either.

On the other hand I tried out Spare Parts yesterday and that game definitely seems worth $10. I'm probably going to download the full version. I like the collecting aspect with the coins and the constant upgrading aspect as well.

I also played my first few games of 3-on-3 NHL. I know I'm brand new to it but fuck is that game hard. I put it on Easy and got destroyed by the CPU. The CPU had no problems scoring on my goalie even when he was in big mode yet I couldn't even score when their goalie was shrunk because somehow the CPU players would suddenly get ultra aggressive and wouldn't let me get near the net. On easy?!? I got hosed online too but that was expected.

FYI, 2K and Rockstar stuff is on sale this week. They have Undead for 400pts, all of the Borderlands DLC's for 400pts each and a piece of DLC that I have been waiting for a sale on...Minerva's Den for Bioshock 2 also for 400pts.

They have other things like the GTA4 episodes and avatar garbage as well.

Were there problems with Live today? I started the downloads of Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 today at 8am and it's after 5pm and Bulletstorm is only 25% complete? My wife told me she was playing Black Ops earlier today at around 10 am and got disconnected from Live. She checked our connection and everything was fine and found out from the people she was playing with that everyone got disconnected.

It almost seems like it's counter-productive to download popular demos early. It seems like whenever I start a download of a highly anticipated demo early in the morning of the release, it takes forever.
