substitute service for servers than, since i was discussing XBL vs PSN (but really, MS doesnt have servers for XBL? that cant be right, and this article disagrees)... XBL blows PSN out of the water IMO (key here is MY OPINION, stop bitching about it b/c you disagree, everyone knows you are a sony homer)...

i bought my 360 in 2011 and its fine... i went through two fat boy ps3's and two slims... and lets not act like the YLOD isnt a problem, shit there is a thread here about all the bricked consoles recently...

Why is it even still an argument that XBL is a better product than PSN? Pretty obvious that the paid service is going to be better. PS+ is a better value at this point though. If you can't see that, you must be blind. Most of the free games available for PS+ are of no interest to me, but there have been plenty that I have tried that I wouldn't have otherwise. I didn't play any of the Saints Row games before Sony made 2 & 3 available for download. I wasn't even considering Saints Row 4, but I'll probably buy it day 1 now.

Atlas does have a point about most gamers not caring about the free games offered by either service though. Just look at how many people buy Call of Duty every year

Microsoft is also still selling the "Day One Edition" of the console through its own online store, suggesting that any hype about a pre-release sellout is premature at this point (Sony also still has PS4 units available on its online store, too).

btw, sony is offering their launch day consoles on amazon (the xbone DO remains sold out) once again, as well as their personal site... GUESS PREORDERS MUST BE TERRIBLE!!!!!

also, since my message clearly isnt resonating with you HARDCORE GAMERS like twigg, kg and buzzman, i guess i should reiterate: if you care about free games and all this other shit PSN is offering, go with them, but there is still a huge contingent of gamers who dont blink twice at it/do not give a shit about it and happily buy there games and play them on XBL... are they ignorant? retarded? the opposite of twigg? no, they just dont give a shit and they dont flip the fuck out over nonsensical things... the sad fact is, like brink said, the majority of gamers in america buy their consoles to solely play sports games and FPS', so this policy buzzman was talking about matters very little to them... i also agree with brink that PS+ is the better value (really PSN always has been b/c its free, but that doesnt make it better), solely b/c of the games they offer, but the actual online experience was and is better on XBL, IMO... maybe that will change next gen, but who really knows? besides twigg i mean...

PSN will be a better experience next gen. Thank god cause it turned me off from PS and i played mostly on XBL. Unfortunately XBL is catering to the casual gamer and PS is catering to the hardcore, i am a "hardcore" gamer. I like my JRPG's, survival horror, sports, FPS, killer IPs etc. You atlas are the scum of the earth and when you die in a fire i will not give a eulogy at your funeral.
