Technically it says day one exclusives, and then lists a bunch of stuff that isn't the console, that would be easier to manufacture than the console. All of that said, this might be the dumbest, most unnecessary, speculative argument of all time.

EDIT: Buzz, just wanted to clarify that I didn't mean that YOUR argument was dumb, just this exchange in general.

It's marketing 101. They did their job in making you believe that I guess.

And it says "Pre Order your Xbox One", not your Xbox One accessories.

I'm pretty sure M$ would be fucking themselves big time, not that they don't seem to love doing that already, if people ordered these and didn't get them day one. I'd see a lot of people canceling orders if that were the case.

No it's not. That would be complete false advertisement if they don't fulfill the order.

            No it wouldn't.

Is it day one status? Yes.
            Is time running out? Yes.
            Commemorative controller? Yes
            Special edition packaging? Yes.
            Exclusive achievement? Yes.

Where is the false advertisement? If they say the console will arrive at your doorstep day 1 and then they fail to do so, then it would be a false advertisement.

Oh, my mistake. Day One Status must mean a several month "window". Sweet.

Everyone that orders an xbox before day 1 or on day 1 will get the day 1 status Xbox One. This isn't rocket science. It's basic business.

Notice how they don't call it Day One Edition? That's because they've advertised Day One Edition to be eligible for release day delivery.

Played the Cloudberry trial...it was pretty interesting. Not quite SMB level (what is?), but it's very interesting.

These Summer of Arcade games look pretty cool. I am in particular psyched about Charlie Murder.

Not even remotely close to the same thing. They advertise "free" games with a PS+ subscription. If it were M$ they would just say "Play on Xbox and get free games!!!" *you only get the games if you subscribe to Xbox Live and they are all old as fuck pieces of shit that no one gives two fucks about anymore.

It's not remotely close to the same thing as saying you get the day one version of the console, which you do?

Sony falsely advertises cross-game voice chat for playstation plus members, Twigg doesn't give a fuck.

Microsoft does what they say they'll do. THE WORLD IS ENDING.

Although they have it on Vita. But when have they ever advertised that?!?

It was in the PS+ description in a lot of foreign markets. You've never heard of it because no one gives a shit about foreign markets until sales figures come in and then they're uber important.
