Don't get me wrong, I still like going back to the occasional old Xbox/PS2 game. But when it comes to buying new stuff I'd rather buy a dirt cheap disc game or arcade game then pay for an indie game with no achievements.
Side note: For what it's worth, The Signal is awesome. Fucking hard as dick though.Comment

I just read on Kotaku and Joystiq that the 360 version of the Lara Croft arcade game won't have co-op patched in until September 28th, the same day it releases for PS3 and PC. So much for times exclusivity.
I planned on waiting for the PS3 version anyway but this just makes it that much easier.Comment

I hope you have someone sitting next to you.
Hydro Thunder=weak
MNC=not my thing
Castlevania=complete garbage
Limbo=great but way too short, should've been $10
Lara Croft=awesome
I really like LC. I especially like the challenges within the levels. The demo was a pretty good length too. Y was actually suprised that after finishing there wasn't a prompt telling me I unlocked at least one achievements. Sometimes that enough to push me over the purchasing edge. I'm thinking it may be because it's not starting you on the first level? I wouldn't mind buying this on both consoles but I think I'll wait for the PS3 version since that's when online co-op will be available anyway.Comment

I thought DeathSpank was part of SoA? Guess not. I was including that too. Still, I thought this was a fantastic lineup, and I ALMOST would have bought them all if Hydro Thunder wasn't a racing game.
The only reason I might rank last years over this years is because Shadow Complex might be one of my favorite 360 games in general, let alone my favorite Arcade one.Comment
