The only boss that is a complete joke in that game is Crawmeraxx. That thing is bullshit although somehow my cousin has beaten it by himself a few times. Luckily you don't have to face him unless you want some crazy loot drops and a cheevo/trophy I think.Comment

The No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise demo was decent.
Gory as ever after you beat henchmen after henchmen... certain times, the blood'll splatter across the screen and drip down like water.
Also, the Boss Fight at the end was easy enough as long as you learn how to block and dodge at the right times.
I'd recommend the game if you haven't played either the original or the sequel on the Wii yet.Comment

Fuck it. I just bought Section 8. Based on the lack of comments on the PlayStation blog and Gamefaqs I probably still have a pretty good change of getting the first for free. Worst comes to worst I still get a cool single player campaign with a fun multiplayer mode, with the free bonuses they give you, for $15.Comment

Amazon still has the year subscriptions for $40.

From a value standpoint, it's definitely worth it. I know I've definitely got more than the $50 I paid a year ago with all of the discounts and free games.

What he said. PS+ is definitely worth it if you buy any amount of content from the store. And I would be willing to bet that if you didn't buy it you would be kicking yourself when something came out that you wanted and it was heavily discounted or free.

After that, it's either waiting for early access to Betas (a week early with Resistance 3 MP > a week early with the UC3 Beta), free icons/themes (you should already be getting free themes online anyway) or "free games" (great if you don't buy $60-a-shot games when they hit stores or prefer digital copies).
I'm not saying it's "not worth it" but you're only getting discounts when Sony or the companies working with them decide to give them to you.Comment

PS+ is only good if you have a comfortable amount of money to burn on digital downloads, etc.

No shit Sherlock. Obviously it's not worth it if you don't plan on buying anything. That's like saying a Costco membership isn't worth it if you don't plan on shopping there.
Thanks for the insight Captain Obvious.Comment

And this isn't even counting the one-week percentage sales they seem to do.
You're better off with the sales PSN does outside of PS+ at this point.
And before there's even an inkling of discussion about one-week/temporary sales between PS+ and non-PS+ members, you don't have to pay a fee to get at the THQ price drops this week versus fucking Cuboid DLC...Comment
