Bought Journey.

The notion of having to rely on complete strangers (they don't tell you who you're co-op'ing with until after you're done) and having to play multiple times through intrigues me.

Exploration is heavily encouraged due to the collectables altering your character and their abilities... that and working with someone else to finish areas faster is fun.

The art style's not too shabby either.

EDIT: It is an IMMENSELY SHORT game.

Easily one sit-down's worth unless you plan on unlocking a full scarf (weird, but if you do subsequent New Games, it transfers onto your cloak and makes it more elaborate... i.e., you look less like a bum) and all the trophies.

There's also a trophy (Twigg...) that has you stop playing for a full week and then pick up the game once again.

Interesting way to say, "Hey Guy, go outside for a bit..."

Actually, Giant Bomb was saying a few podcasts ago that thatgamecompany doesn't want people running through the game multiple times in quick bursts. The reason why they put that trophy in there is because they want to encourage people to take long breaks in between sessions so that the game will feel fresh each time.

"I Am Alive" seems decent enough for a lookthrough.

At worst, we're getting the American version of Raw Danger... a bad game with a future cult following.

Skull Girls looks interesting too considering there isn't many indie-made fighters these days.

I've played skullgirls before...shit is fresh, although the initial lack of characters kinda turns me off.

I Am Alive is not very good. It's definitely not worth $15. $5? Definitely. $10? Maybe.
