I got XCOM as a part of the Bioshock Infitinite preorder bonus. In one week, I poured 42 hours into XCOM. I still haven't played Bioshock.

I'm not excited. I actually played through Matt Hazard not long after it released and had fun with it. I'm jjust curious because why in the hell would they be porting it to Vita? It sold like shit and came out ages ago? Epic Mickey also came out a bit ago. And I hadn't heard any word of that being ported to Vita either.

not part of PS+ update but it's dropping this week, as well as Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazar, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Storm & Jax & Daxter Collection. PSBlog.com wrote it would be released this week, I don't find them giving out bad information. The Giana Sisters looks nice...this review is from 4 months ago.

it was on PSBlog.com and everyone wondered (in comments) why they would release it on Vita and worse charge ~$35 (I believe) for it.

edit: The article @ the time says $35.99.

A new firmware update for the PS3 is live, but a significant number of reports indicate it's locking users out of their systems. Posters on the official PS3 Support forum noted they couldn't boot their systems after the update, and some users said restoring file systems didn't resolve the issue.

According to the PlayStation Twitter account, the 4.45 update includes trophy notification options and improves system stability - hmm.

We've reached out to Sony to clarify the situation. While the issues don't seem to be affecting all users, it might be wise to stay clear of the update for the time being.

As of now, this seems to be affecting those with 500 Gigs and Up, as well as those who put in bigger HDD drives into their systems.

Sony's aware of this bullshit and for now, your only solution is to not update and/or stay offline just in-case you have your system set to auto-update via PS+.
