Pretty sure it's 2...but I looked on both are accounts and one of our systems isn't activated. I think I didn't activate it because it said it didn't affect the warranty. I could activate it but I don't even remember the purchase date, which it asks for (guess I could lie).Comment

Even though I'm glad I have everything on disc with my copy of Borderlands GotY, at this point I wish I had the download codes for the DLC so that I could download them again on my wife's PS3. She's really into the game and I know she'll want to play the DLC but she only has the vanilla version thanks to PS+. I'm also kicking myself for not taking advantage of teh deal on teh DLC last week. I guess I thought it was going to be longer.Comment

If that works that would kick ass. That just seems too easy though.Comment

You're confusing me? A system/console is "activated" once you sign into PSN using your PSN credentials. If you have logged on to a second PS3 using your RyneCandy log on that PS3 becomes activated on your account. I have no idea what you're referring to with purchase dates. Activation only applies to PSN downloads.
EDIT: Figured out where the system listings was located and how to deactivate.Comment

Sony is going to start offering a 10% discount on select digital retail games for PS+ members.
The month of October is an exciting one for PS3 gamers, with a plethora of AAA titles hitting store shelves over the next four weeks. I’m excited to announce today that eight of the hottest upcoming titles will be available on PlayStation Network the same day they hit retailers through a new program called PSN [...]
It wouldn't be enough to pull me away from deals at Best Buy, but it's a step in the right direction to make their digital download service competitive with other retailers.
lso, you were correct. I was able to install the four DLC packs on my wife's PS3. Awesome.Comment

From what I read, Sony allowed people to pre-load Borderlands 2 so they could play it at midnight. It would be awesome if they started doing that for all of their upcoming releases.Comment

Limited-Time PlayStation Card Offer: 12-Month Plus Subscription & $50 PSN Code
Hello PlayStation Nation! I hope you’re a fan of PlayStation Plus and free video games, because you may have just hit the mother lode. We’ve been working tirelessly with our friends at Capital One to put together a special PlayStation Card offer for our community, and I’m excited to finally share the details. For a limited time, new cardholders will get a 12 month subscription to PlayStation Plus AND a $50 PlayStation Network code after first purchase (and yes, before you ask, the 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription stacks if you are already a Plus member).
As you might recall, last year we launched the PlayStation Card – a credit card designed specifically for our PlayStation community. With it cardholders get:
10x points on ALL PlayStation Network purchases
3x points on ALL PlayStation and Sony purchases at Sony stores and Sony.com
3x points at quick service restaurants, movie theaters and on your mobile phone bill
1x points on all other purchases
And now, on top of the points you can earn, new cardholders will receive a 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription and a $50 PSN Code after first PlayStation Card purchase. With PlayStation Plus, you get:
An Instant Game Collection, which grants you access to a library of blockbuster games like inFAMOUS 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Borderlands, and many more.
Exclusive early access to select game betas and demos
1GB of cloud storage to save games online
Full game trials
Discounts on select PlayStation Store purchases
Automatic PS3 updates
And, once you receive the $50 PlayStation Network code with this offer, you can spend those fifty bucks however you please on the PlayStation Network!
When you combine the discounts you can take advantage of as a PlayStation Plus member, the $50 PSN code you can get to spend on the PlayStation Network, and the 10x points you earn from using your PlayStation Card in the PlayStation Store, you’re looking at some serious benefits.
This is the first time we’ve been able to put together such a special offer, and it’s our way of saying “thank you” for being such an awesome community!
