The Cave should be a get if you dig Double Fine games and the guy behind it (he worked on some of the Tales of Monkey Island games with Telltale).

One of the main hooks being that the titular "Cave" is his own character that talks is pretty great as well if you like to be entertained while avoid traps and such.

im maybe a quarter way through? i guess its the first "choice" you have to make when you have to kill the one guy (gould) or save the hostages. im not saying its a bad game but it has been repetitive up to this point.

The repetitiveness is one of the key tropes in the game.

It's supposed to be boring, to a point.

just finished it today. was a very good game. straight up gameplay wise it wasnt really anything spectacular but the story was the kind that made you sit back and think. after completing it you kind of think wtf did i just play but when you delve a little deeper it really was a brilliantly told game and a very refreshing FPS title. very much recommended to anyone who hasnt played it
