Hell, I think I've done that through the area before you go to Monument Island; just listening to the barkers pimp their wares and shooting targets for money.

Apparently in my game, Booker DeWitt is a mass murderer with a perchant for kleptomania and an almost OCD-like need to turn faucets on-and-off.

        EDIT: About the Vigors...

The Devil's Kiss is pretty rad with the option to set fire traps if you can't quite reach the person/thing you wish to set aflame.

The upgrade for it being able to set up cluster bombs is pretty cool too but I don't have enough Silver Eagles for it yet.

The Murder of Crows Vigor is the stuff of nightmares... either tell your crows to go forth and peck a poor soul to death while you shoot them OR...

Set down a trap and let the victim walk over a nest teeming with angry birds hungry for flesh.

        And the upgrade?

I can't imagine it would be pleasant finding the body of a friend and then having said corpse burst open to release thousands of carnivorous crows upon you.

        Scary stuff.

What did you guys do with Slate?

For attacking me, I choose to spare him and have him be a hostage.

If you're a Bioshock fan, it should whet your appetite.

If you're looking for a good game that should eat up a few of your days while leaving a lasting impression, this one will also do.

This game is fucking amazing. I think I'm at the end already and it seems like time has just melted.

I'm taking my time like I did with Tomb Raider.

Exploring every corner that I can when the game's NPCs stop shooting at me has rendered a lot of loose change to go in my pockets.

                  Also, I just found Elizabeth...

To see that Columbia, with all it's bluster and worship of "The Lamb" (like in previous Bioshocks), still treats her like a science project baffles me.

I can put two and two together to see that Comstock's been using her knowledge of the approximate future to power his agenda.

And to know that Comstock will never let her go because of it scares me a little.

She's like a rare toy that he doesn't want to share with the world because she's special and to let her leave would taint that apparently.

...it's been a long time since I've had a game make me think about its narrative this way instead of just collecting all the best gear and shipping from
point A to point Z in a timely fashion.

                  Also...

Finally getting to see the alternative future of the Star Wars franchise in "Revenge of the Jedi" and hearing "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" was pretty fucking tits.

Incredible game so far. Every time I fight a handyman I get slapped around like a two dollar whore.

I don't have a lot of time to play through everything because of school, so I decided to just bang it out right after buying it. Finished with exactly 50% achievements on Steam.

when all is said and done, bioshock: infinite will be hailed as one of the greatest games if not the greatest of a generation IMHO.

never before in video games have i experienced that exhilarating of a thrill ride

heavy rain had the story, but not the gameplay
uncharted had the gameplay, but as good and deep as the story was, it still feels like the same cut and dry get the plunder save the girl type of story as a whole
this games story was literally on par with what i would see on a high-class theatrical level, while also being fun as fuck to play

                        10/10 will play again

the game looks and plays great. i have not gotten Elizabeth yet but i think i am close. i had such a blast soaking in the trippy nature of the opening part of the game. it should be a phenomenal game

I guess I'll wait for a price drop. You guys are finishing the game in 2 days. I can't pay full price for that.
