finally reached elizibeth. i dont agree with the best game ever stuff. way to much bloom in this game imo. the trippy atmosphere is great and the gameplay is solid. graphics look great which is why i dont understand the mega amounts of bloom. i would like the game to open up the tonics a bit more. i have only been able to use 3 so far and the same goes for weapons. i passed a shitload of those kiosks to buy shit, but money is so hard to come by that i dont have nearly enough to buy anything to upgrade

the story is ok ..... i mean there isnt much to it right now. its all a mystery and all they have you doing is find Elizabeth. people are saying how great the story is so i expect it to reach a higher level as i move on.

i can see this winning goty

          Song Spoilers

After opening up a random tear...

I hear "Born on the 4th of July."

Then I go to the Graveyard Shift in Shantytown and fiddle with the lone phonograph in the joint.

A jazz cover of "Tainted Love" hits.

After that, I head into the cellar downstairs, past the bar...

There's a guitar down there that you can "play" while Elizabeth sings.

          ...

EDIT: Over in Shantytown, a girl can be heard singing a cover of "Born on the 4th of July" as well.

          I fucking love this game.

I never even connected phonographs with the rest, I'm going to have to compile a list on my in-depth playthrough.

If you find a particular Voxophone, you learn why you hear certain songs that don't quite fit the time period the game's in.

And when you beat the game, you'll see just how silly the notion is.

Its not that I am rushing, but because I can't really put the game down. Its so damn good. I find myself getting distracted reading everything no the walls and searching the entire area before moving on.

                            ENDING SPOILERS

The ending explains it, variable and constraints. The songs still exist in all the other parallels, as evidenced by the Tears for Fears in the universe showing "Revenge of the Jedi" instead of Return.

I think you mean "Fortunate Son" by CCR.

Plus, the a capella version of God Only Knows by the Beach Boys was awesome. I put the controller down to listen.

                              For those who have finished:

The story is probably the best story I've ever been told through a game. I'm a huge fan of the Dark Tower books, as well as alternate universe theories. This game was absolutely perfect with its use of this. The fact that the original Bioshock and Infinite are basically the exact same game blew me away.

                              There's always a man, there's always a city.
