[PS3] Mass Effect 2 coming to PS3

Minus the fact that you get FailSheperd and you haven't played Mass Effect 1, it's kinda worthless to PS3 players IMO.

What is FailSheperd? I don't think it's worthless because Mass Effect 2 is a great game on it's own. I owned both of them when I had my 360 and think this is a pretty big deal. It should include all of the DLC that has been released so far.

Hmm, I'd wager the bonus content is likely much of the 360 DLC. like the tank add-on and shit.

They did the same shit with Saint's Row 2 and are going to do it with Dead Rising 2 as well.

They also did this with Final Fantasy 7 seeing as you couldn't play the first few here in the States until just a few years ago.

If the game's good, no one gives a shit if there's a number attached at the end... if someone wants more, they can go backtrack the original.

FailShepard is the default character you start out with in Mass Effect 2 if you don't port your save/game decisions over from Mass Effect 1.

Something similar would be the Orlesian Warden Commander character from Dragon Age Origins: Awakening.

As much as it sucks that they wont bring over ME1 for the full experience, this is still great news. ME2 is my favorite game of all time, and the fact that PS3 owners get to play it now is great.

Do we know why? Just curious because I have no intentions of playing the games anyway. Why bring one and not the other? Hell, they could wait until the third game releases and out them all on one bluray.

ehh there singleplayer games are getting quite good but sony has not been able to get one multiplayer cash cow everyone ive bought has only lasted about a month or 2 before it turns into a hassle of joining a game

I guess for a while Gears, Halo, Forza, Left 4 Dead, and Mass Effect held enough weight in my mind that it wasn't completely obvious that PS3 had the clear advantage. Now it is lol.
