Habsallday spamming the call pass button. I would love to see his turnover's for those games. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 10+ per game. Plus didn't help that no defencemen played till after midnight last night, so we had the great old 'hit or miss' cpu.

7-2 on the season we're into the Elite division now...we need to lose a few and get back to Pro where we belong haha...on weekends it's just my buddy and I and we play these kids who are retarded and play the puck out when their goalie has it covered and I get 1-2 goals a game just by burying those chances.

Went 3-0 last night, I go offline, team goes 1-1.

Shoulda stayed, those 2 games were vs top clubs. I never seem to be involved in the games vs teams in the top 100.

            I finally joined a club.

Played 24 games with them so far as a defenseman. I have 7 goals, 15 assists, and a +21 with the club. Almost forgot what it's like to quarterback a team from the point after playing like 300 someoddd games in OTP, lol.

Yeah random OTP games suck, 95% of the time the people you get stuck with are absolutely terrible puckhogs.

Yeah, I don't even try to play setup as an offensive d-man in OTP anymore, since 99.9% of the time I won't have a reliable defensive partner/the center doesn't play defense at all/I won't get any kind of coverage from the wingers if I jump in on the rush.

Obviously in club I get all of that so I can pick my spots going forward without worrying about giving up like a 3-0 on breakaway cause of there being 5 people pinching up in the offensive zone and no one back to play D, lol.

OTP I just pile all my stats into a defensive d-man and stay at home. I've gotten pretty adept at handling 2 on 1s over the years of playing OTP haha.

Yeah my club's actually been doing pretty well this month, we haven't played in like a week but we're somewhere around 18-6-2 and around 1600 in the Elite division....we keep thinking we're going to start losing but we don't haha.

Been playing RW for my club for a while now actually. It's a little frustrating sometimes with the dude playing RD now. He's not a natural defenseman and makes a lot of annoying little mistakes, and I know I'm like 100% better than him at the position. However, I'm also a lot better at him at wing too, and after playing D for like 3 years now, I'm pretty content with playing forward for a while.

Of course, whenever we get 6 on, I go back to D cause our human goalie won't play with him on D haha.

In any case, I've got 38 goals and 62 assists in 54 games, +33. We're 11-5-1 so far in the new season (48-17-10 overall). We're a pretty average team. I noticed in the league stats we get a lot more shots off per game than most teams (21 spg, appears to be T-2nd) but we're only shooting 13% which is like 1/2 to 1/3 of the "elite" teams. Granted we don't do glitches and stuff so. Solid TOA as well, 07:36, which is like 28th in the division.

I personally still need to work on learning the goal scoring nuances of playing forward. I know how to get myself into scoring positions and I'm good at setting people up, but I need to get better at finishing. Also not particularly gifted at creating my own scoring opportunities via dekes and whatnot.

I used to get a lot more assists than goals, but recently I've been on a goal scoring tear, over a 7 game span I was averaging a hat trick per game haha. Just keep practicing, I shoot low a lot so if I don't score there's a good chance for a rebound.

Yeah that's actually a lot of the reason why I don't score a lot. Since I'm used to playing defense I've pretty much developed the mindset of shooting to produce scoring opportunities rather than shooting to score, i.e. just throwing it on net for deflections, through screens, to generate rebound opportunities, etc.

Make sure you stick is set also to the second curve so you get a nice whip on it. A straight stick wont do to much.
