Quick couple negatives I've noticed after playing the game for the last 10 hours lol:

Just had an enraging game of 1v1 where I outshot my opponent 30 to 10 yet lost in OT 3-2 due to what appears to be the famous curve shot has come back. When he had a right hand shot he would cut across the middle bring it back and fire it at the net. His end result was 3 goals, I think I counted 3 posts and 2 shots which I managed to deflect. My defense to this at this point is shady as last year I had a ton of ways to stop it but with all these offensive improvements and the defense basically being dummy downed I'm finding it hard to combat this. I'll have to give it a few games. I think this really has to do with the goalies being fairly bad at the level we're playing at compared to last year. I'm sure a tuner update will address this in the future.

Also hitting for the most part online is odd at best. You sometimes completly miss the hit or this morphing thing happends where you kinda go through the player. This appears to be due to lag as offline everything is fine. Dunno what they can do about this. The new hitting system is pretty awesome but when things like this happends I kinda cringed.

Positives:

Size matters finally. If your a small little guy you arn't hitting the big guys with ease anymore. You may be quicker but your also going to get hit down more often. Better know how to stick handle.

The way they've down EASHL is just perfect. You set your lineups pregame and then can choose to find teams with the same amount of player and/or with a user goalie. This had made user goalie vs user goalie all that better.

I haven't fully got a chance to get into Be A Gm. Its depth level though looks fairly enticing to me though. Quick note since I wondered this and found out. When you start your franchise you can choose to start at the NHL draft with the before draft rosters. I've noticed when you do this edmonton takes hall and boston takes seguin but after that it does change. I seen fowler being taken all over the place. They also include the undrafted guys which are generally guys coming out of the ncaa. Great little touch. If you don't want to do this you can choose to skip the draft and use the current draft results with the players drafted this year.

The trading screen is well.... Thank god they upgraded it! I'm really really looking forward to get my franchise going in the next few weeks. Last year my chise went 4 seasons before I got burnt out of it (playing all 82 games). We will see how long it goes now. I'm thinking of changing up my way to play model.

I need to take a break for now but this game is great. I haven't touched Hut yet. Doubt I will seriously get into it but you never know.

Yeah the hitting in EASHL is spotty, sometimes I'll get a solid hit on the guy and he won't lose the puck, and my guy is a 6'3 215 power forward
