2K11 makes 2K8 look like an NBA Live game in terms of realism. If you want a real simulation sports game, you get 2K11.

No issues with players being unresponsive for me.

I changed the settings but once I got into Jordan Challenges it went back to Pro. I didn't realize it till it was the 3rd Q and I was already almost about to accomplish 63 pts on the Celtics. So you have to change the settings on Jordan Challenges as well (it seems). Now that I have changed it to All-Star, I've failed both times.

I think this is the simmest 2k I've ever played. It's not cheesey like before where you could just drive in and dunk and etc.

Game is amazing so far! REAL nba basketball, Players play like themselves and you cant just abuse the weak defense anymore. I love it!
