And like others have said, this game isn't anything like GT5. Because it's a racing game it's the same, right?

Played the demo, and the cars felt really stiff on the turns. The drifting was useless and barley made sharp corners, games had good ideas but the game needs to feel less clunky hopefully its just the demo.

Really? I just played it and thought the controls felt great.

I just can't figure out how yo use the spike strips. I know it's down on the d-pad but I don't see how and when they show up anywhere.

FYI, a second "racer" (not the cop mode) race opens up if you have at least one person on your friends list that has played the demo and posted a time in the cop race.

I got it in 2:14 I think and I still don't know the proper way to utilize the spike strips.

I think it's sweet that they actually have a Crown Vic in the game.

Yes I am. But I did download the demo on 360 as well. I haven't played the 360 demo yet though.

Yea, I'm not a big GT fan because it's too sim for me and when it comes to my racing games, I like some exciting arcadish type of racers. Mainly NFS & Burnout series.

BTW Twigg, saw your personal best on the demo today. I finished 3 secs behind you with the same Porsche...bastard haha.

Are you talking about the regular road race? Because you can use a Porsche cop car in the cop mode as well.

Regular race. Only got to try it that one race because I had to head out to class. Gonna play it some more tonight after I finish this game of 2k.

Sidenizzle - I didn't see any cops in the race...are they only in cop mode or what? I liked to be chased not just do the chasing lol.

I was wondering the same thing. I was hoping cops would start chasing us midway through the race, but, nope.

I'm guessing the final game will have that though.

It better otherwise that's gonna be a disheartening downfall' although I'd still get it.

I know the game definitely lets you play as the "racer" and you have to elude the cops. But I'm unsure of whether you can compete in regular races with the chances of the cops intervening. My guess would be yes but I have no idea.

on the Cop side of things, the 370Z felt like a fucking TANK. However, in the racer it felt fine..

For an arcadey-game, it sure seems a little....sim..

I don't think NFS has ever been totally arcadish. It's like a nice mix of both I think. It's no Burnout or GT, more in-between.
