So I played through Crysis 2 again on Super Soldier and also got the rest of the single player cheevos I missed the first time around.
I've been playing a bit of Dungeon Hunter: Alliance and I'm up to level 11 now. I'm really enjoying that game.
I decided I'm going to play through the campaign of Bad Company 2 and just blow through it on Easy for the cheevos. I already beat it on PS3. Then I will probably move on to Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions and then Bulletstorm. I figured I'd break up the FPS's a bit with Spiderman. Ha.Comment

I finished the campaign in Bad Company 2 (360) yesterday and got all the campaign cheevos.
Today I decide I'm going to start on Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions to try to break up the string of FPS games I've been playing lately. I got this game a few weeks ago at a Blockbuster that was going out of business. When I initially bought it I brought it home and popped it in to make sure it worked. It had some superficial scratches but nothing that appeared to be a big deal. The game booted up fine and went to the main menu so I figured everything was kosher.
I pop it back in today and again everything loads fine. After pressing Start it asks what storage device I want to use, etc. I go to start a new game and get the "This dis is damaged or dirty" message. Uh oh. I take it out and wife it off with a cloth. I put it back in and the damn thing won't even boot now. I take it out and inspect it even further and there is a small crack that starts from the center hole and goes about an 1/8 of an inch into the readable part of the disc itself.
Fuck me.
Why it booted initially is beyond me. Pissed me the fuck off.Comment

Holy shit! I don't want to jinx myself but I may have fixed it.
I figured the only reason it wasn't reading was because when it spins in the tray it spins so fast it causes the crack to separate just slightly enough to prevent the 360 from reading it. I put a small piece of scotch tape firmly on the top of the disc where the crack is.
So far it's working!Comment
