Spider-man is done. I really enjoyed it. If you can find it for $30 or less I highly recommend it. Great cel shaded graphics. The humor is pretty top notch most of the time. And it's pretty lengthy for an action game. I also really liked playing as all four different versions of Spidey from the different dimensions.Comment

Sticking with the super hero theme I started Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Wii) the other day. It's pretty simplistic with the combat but I really like the art style and the game play is fun. The controls work very well considering you have to use the wii remote/nunchuck combo. Batman is voiced by the guy from the Drew Carey Show and Outsourced (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0046033/).
So far I'm through one chapter but I think there are only four. It took me a few hours to get through that chapter though.
I only spent $10 on it and it's well worth that. I definitely couldn't see ever spending a full $50 on it. It definitely seems to be worth $20 though.Comment

I finished up Batman: The Brave & the Bold last night. I really enjoyed it. It was like a homage to classic platformers from the Genesis/SNES days. The hand drawn art looked really good and the cut scenes appeared to be ripped straight from the cartoon. The humor was quality and I loved the diverse selection of heroes included. The bad guys were a bit lacking though. No Penguin, Joker or Riddler?
Either way I really liked it and it was well worth the $10 I paid. I might actually play through it again because after playing through once you unlock the lock pick gadget which lets you get into doors you couldn't access prior.Comment

I'm close to cracking the Prince of Persia disc in half. I'm at a part where there hasn't been a fucking fountain in ages and I literally have a sliver of health. I have to climb up to this high ledge and there is a fucking bird waiting up there for me. The attack of the bird couldn't be any more unpredictable and quick. No matter what I do I can't avoid it or kill it first. I've tried slow-mo, running passed it, attacking. Argh!!!Comment

Ok, so I popped in inFamous earlier tonight after my wife demanded I play it. LOL. I've wanted to play through as Evil Cole since I beat it as Good Cole already. The weird thing was that when I checked my trophies it showed I had 0% and I actually unlocked a few while playing, ones that I bad unlocked before.
I'm guessing the game just needs to re-sync with the trophy server whenever PSN comes back up?Comment

There is one thing I would worry about, and that is anything being achieved with the system offline not saving. I remember when there was a huge shift in the dashboard a few years back for Live, and they actually took everyone offline for a day to install the new system. Achievements I earned while it was down did not show up on my profile when Live came back, so I had to go back and do those over again (thankfully it was only one game)Comment
