I picked up my Uncharted 3 CE from Gamestop today.

Ok, so I played my RttS again last night for the first time in about a week. I was rally getting into a groove. I even got Player of the Game for my first time ever. My avg was up to around .270, I het a few more HRs to get to a whopping 5 (LOL, got to about 35 RBIs and I'm getting pretty good at swiping bases. It's the second half of the AA season, after the All-Star break, and my team is doing very well even though I'm getting spotty starting opportunities and coming in to pinch hit.
By the way, in AA do the teams records start over after the All-Star break? Because that's what seemed to happen.
I've also been trying to work the count as JMS mentioned and one of my "goals" is to earn a few walks in the next few series'. That shit seemes impossible. I've had several times where I start the count 3-0 and the pitcher will throw 3 straight strikes. I can't seem to buy a walk.
But at least I've been hitting decently...until the injury. Everything is going well until in a game in my first at bat I get a single and RBI. The picther seems to be throwing a lot of offspeed stuff so I go to swipe second. I slide in head first and my player comes up writhing in pain. It was kind of funny because I was just wondering if I would ever see an injury. So I tore a ligament in one of my fingers. I get put on the 60-day DL and basically donw for the season.
My team makes it onto the playoofs only to lose the forst series 3-2. I was devasated because I know I could've helped them at least get further than that.
The next season hets started and I get offered a AAA single season contract for $83k. I accepted it so let's see how this goes.
I do wish I would've chose the O's at the outset though. I regret that. I let the CPU just sign me to a team and I'm in the Diamondbacks system. Oh well.
Injuries are part of the game and it just goes to prove how realistic that game is. I get more impressd by the day with it.

Played a ton of co-op with the Dizzle today. We finished up RE: ORC and also saw the alternate ending. We started the campaign up again with Buzzman but his internet crapped out once we hit level 3 I think. Then Jay and I jumped on to Lara Croft & the GoL after Brnt flaked again and Ned and Swarley didn't want to play Syndicate. Here's a hint guys, we will pribably NEVER finish that game if we don't play with three, unless Seth rebuys the game. I also tried to jump on ORC on 360 with Swarley but of course Thomas ignored my messages again because he was too busy watching Zune movies.

So Jay and I went with Lara and man do I still love that game. It looks beautiful and is a great c0-op game.

I'm really getting sick of getting solid hits up the middle in RttS and getting "OK at-bat, 5 pts", especially when they are in clutch situations where my team is down.
