Just finished Alan Wake. It's a great game. Well worth $15. I just love how they work the story using a 'groundhog day' type scenario. If you're an AW fane then it's a must download.

The Darkness II is a fucking awesome game. I rented it from Red Box mostly to play through the co-op with my buddy but I was hooked. I spent basically from 3pm until 5am playing the campaign the first day I had it. Loved it. I honestly would not have minded spending $60 on it but now I've done almost everything there is to do.Comment

I just finished Uncharted: Golden Abyss. In the beginning I felt the same way our boy Swarley did about the game. It was solid but it didn't feel exactly like an A-team effort. About chapter 18 or so I was completely immersed in the game and I honestly couldn't tell the difference between it and it's console brethren. The story really picks up around that point and there is an event that happens around chapter 20 that will make any Uncharted fan yell "Fuck yeah!"
I was truly impressed with the game and still can't believe it was on a handheld. I'm looking forward to playing through again with a guide so that I can find all the treasures because there are a TON of them.Comment

Josh's thread reminded me that I haven't updated this bitch in a while.
I recently played through Crimson Alliance (XBLA) with my cousin and it was a lot of fun. If you're a fan of dungeon crawlers you should definitely check it out.
I also fucked Unit 13's shit ip on the Vita. Five starred every mission, took down every HVT and platinumed that mfer. I basically fucked that game in the ass and made it call me daddy.
Recently I've been playing the Splinter Cell HD collection on PS3. SC is one of my favorite game series of all time. While I am enjoying playing through these games again I can't get past what a half assed job Ubisoft did with the collection. Apparently they used the PC versions so things like the extra missions in the PS2 version of the first game are absent. Also no multiplayer in Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory. That I don't mind but no co-op in CT?!? That was one of my favorite co-op modes ever. The graphics also haven't been touched up much. The cut scenes look like Jay Drizzle's face after a double shift at the Dollar G. The games are wu top dRk (shout out to Med!) For some reason too. Even cranking up the brightness doesn't do jack shit. I do love the fact that you can quick save at any time though because as and SC played knows there is a shit ton of trial and error. I got really pissed last night though. Not once but twice I want to load a quick save after being spotted by an enemy and quick saved instead and I was completely fucked. I also got to the end of one of the longest missions in the first game and kept experiencing what I can only assume is a glitch. I'm trying to go through the entire game without any alarms and also killing minimal people. I get to this point near the end of the level and no matter what I do the alarm music starts and enemies just start rushing me. I have no choice but to kill them so it fucks my entire strategy. Ugh. I'm glad I only paid $16.Comment

Kind of a game that if you do start it up again just keep going.....otherwise you will lose steam. I plowed through about 8 hours or more this weekend and I am about 30 mins from the ending. I cant wait to find out what happens.....the last mission and ones leading up to it are quite good.Comment
